Moriah

Moriah, as a girl's name, is of Hebrew origin, most commonly meaning "the land of Yahweh." It is believed in the Hebrew Bible, Abraham was directed to "Moriah" by God to sacrifice Isaac. God intervened by sending a messenger, so Abraham sacrificed a ram instead, and Isaac was saved. Moriah is thus associated with a place chosen by the divine, allowing baby to always have a beautiful reminder of their faith.
