Your Pregnancy: Week 19

Those nasty leg cramps are probably making it tough to get comfortable. One way to ease the pain: Extend your leg and flex your ankle and toes toward your knees. Or enlist your partner for a calf (and back!) massage. Good news: Your now-bulging belly should get you a little more compassion from everyone around you.

Baby's now the size of a mango!
Vernix caseosa, a greasy white substance made of lanugo, oil, and dead skin cells (yum) now coats baby's skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid. (Picture yourself after a nine-month bath, and the need for protection makes sense.) You might get to see the vernix at birth, especially if baby is premature.

To-do:

> Research cord blood banking
> Reminder: Sign up for childbirth class
> Go to your checklist

[ tip ] Exercise is a must, but your lung capacity ain't what it used to be. Since you've got less oxygen available during pregnancy, take your workouts down a notch or two.

I'm in the in-between stage right now, where my regular pants are getting MUCH too tight, but maternity pants are too baggy! Size small is too small, and size medium is too baggy! So, I am having A LOT of trouble finding clothes to wear. And I need dress pants for work. We don't have money to spend on A LOT of clothes, so I am at a loss as to what to do!! Does anyone have any good advice?

http://www.motherhood.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=930660111&MasterCategory_Id=MC32 Try using this on your old pants, it works wonders for me as it keeps them up, and I dont have to buy maternity yet, but it will also keep the maternity up when they are took big. Congrats

My second pregnancy happened faster than we thought and I have gained faster with this one than with my daughter. I hear this is pretty normal. We find out tomorrow what we are having! YAY!!!

Try the Bellaband (from Target) to keep the medium size maternity pants up, don't worry, you'll be fitting onto them soon!
