Contractions with Twins?

Will my contractions be different because I'm carrying twins?

The Bump Expert

About midway through your pregnancy, you may start to experience some Braxton Hicks contractions, or a tightening of the muscles of the uterus. They’re generally not painful, just a little uncomfortable, and they last about a minute or two. When you’re carrying twins or more, you’ll typically have a greater number of Braxton Hicks, although some women don’t have any symptoms. It’s just your body’s way of helping you get ready for the real thing. Actual labor contractions are similar for twins and singles (and yes, we’re sorry to say, they hurt).
