what is normal brown spotting in the early pregnancy (5-6 weeks)? No blood show and no cramps. Very, very little spotting. Almost have to "dig" for it...too much info I know!

jqdesroch:::I was tested at 10 weeks for GD. OB was concerned because of family history. I failed the glucose test in the office, so I was scheduled for the 3-hour one. It was tough getting poked so many times and not being able to eat. I was also going through morning sickness at the time. By the time the results came back as negative, the nausea had subsided. OB said that the morning sickness had something to do with my glucose levels being out of whack. They're normal now.

hi i was wondering how long to wait to try to conceive an other baby after giving birth?i had my baby 2 months ago.

Im 32 wks pregnant and sometimes when I wipe...the tissue is slightly pink. Its never blood..just slightly pink. Ive asked about it at my doctors and they told me even certain foods can change the color of my urine...but it still worries me. Has this happened to anyone else?

Ok, so long story short. I'm usually a 28 cycle person. Well my period didn't come until 31 days this cycle. Also, it was very very light spotting the first 2 days of it and then the last 2 days it was like a normal period. Well just finished my period on the 7th. Lately I've been totally exhausted, been having headaches and cramping almost like when I do when it's before or during my period. Any idea what this could be?

I took a home pregnancy test on day 28 of my cycle and it was positive. I had been feeling some pregnancy symptoms (increased urination, sore breasts, and nausea) since day 26. Everything I'm reading talks about taking a hpt in week 5, but is it possible to get a positive result at 3 weeks and 6 days?

I just found out that I have low progesterone. I'm a little over 8 weeks. My level was 21.1, and it's supposed to be over 25. I'm on suppliments now. Could this be why I didn't have many symptoms?

How common is hair loss during pregnancy? I have had large hair loss since before I found out I was pregnant and I estimate to be around 7 weeks, but if this hair loss is connected to my pregnancy then I would be around 12 weeks. Are crunches safe during pregnancy? I've read/heard that anything you did before is fine to do (until you can't), but crunches are so specific to the baby area that it seems questionable. I have a question regarding labor. I have a rare nerve disorder called pudendal nueralgia, which I see a specialist for who is also my OBGYN. It I found out I was pregnant when I went in for surgery to attempt to correct the issue and did not have the surgery. The Dr determined we'd do a scheduled C-section and do the surgery after they remove the baby. I am having very strong doubts about doing it now. In fact my gut is telling me to try to have a VBAC instead. My Dr feels strongly about the C-section and the surgery. Should I follow my instincts and switch Dr.s or follow the expert. Mind you it took them 5 years to diagnose the problem and start treatments so I am not sold on the "expert" opinion part.

I am 17 weeks pregnant and I had gone to an ultrasound a week ago. After the ultrasound a doctor came and talked to me about concerns on the ultrasound. The doctor said they seen some memebranes that are separated. The doctor didn't tell me anything more. I tried asking a lot moe questions but nobody isn't explaining anything to me. This is really bothering me. I was told I have to get another ultrasound in a couple of weeks to see how the membranes progressed and if not I have to go see a peritologist. They said if nothing progresses I am considered high risk. I was told that it was too early in the pregnancy to rule everytthing out so I just have to wait. Everything is still growing yet. Right now I am really worried and have a lot of questions that no one seems to answer.

I am 29 weeks pregnant. My due date is april 21 although my ultra sound tech said april 15. I am not accurate on when the last time i got my period, I know it could of been in the middle or begining of july. I just found out I have hypothyroidism and want to know if I will have trouble conceiving?

Is riding my horse safe? Everyone is freaking out every time I ride. I talked to my DR. and she was skeptical but didn't give me a yes or no answer. I feel GREAT when I ride and keep everything really gentle and basic, I don't do any training and haven't tried anything new. I have had my horse since he was born 9 years ago and he is the only horse I ride. So far I have only ridden a few times because of weather and work but now that the weather is getting warm I am getting the itch to ride again soon. I am 27 weeks along with my first baby and I really want to do everything right but I have also been around horses since I was 7 and was around them everyday up until I got married last year in August. I have two horses of my own and worked on a farm as a trainer. I promised my hubby that if I felt at all uncomfortable or if my horse started behaving different I would get off right away.

I feel horrible... I was so sick yesterday from a cold, and I took about half a dose of Nyquil to try to sleep. I feel better from the cold, but being on my 20th week, I'm afraid it's affecting my baby, and maybe I shouldn't have took it. am I safe? Is baby safe? I will avoid it in the future, as this morning I read I should stick with Tylenol to not have any issues...

I was wondering how to explain hormonal changes to my husband. We're still TTC and I was telling him I was feeling hormonal and perhaps was PMSing just to let him know that if I snapped at him I was trying not to and he said "well, if you know that's what's happening, can't you just stop?" With what I've heard is the craziness of pregnancy hormones coming up, how can I explain to my dear husband that it's hormonal not psychological and while I'm trying not to cry at folk songs and commercials or snap because he put the dishes away wrong, sometimes I just can't help it? He's an engineer so illogical and nonlinear things are not his strong point, perhaps a medical explanation would be good? Thanks,

I am 6 weeks and have a really bad cough. My first prenatal appointment isn't until next week and until they see me in person, they won't give me any advice for what to do to help my cough. I also tried to call the nurse line at work and they said that being pregnant, they don't want to give me any suggestions on things I may be able to take because it may go against my doctors beliefs.. I've had this cough for almost a week and I'm coughing almost constantly.It's also making it very hard to fall asleep. Is there anything I can take to calm it down that won't harm the baby or is it too early in the pregnancy. I heard you can use albuterol inhalers or treatments (I have both) or to use robitussin but I also read that you shouldn't use those things before 12 weeks. Please help. This cough is exhausting and starting to become painful.

I'm at week 29 and my belly is really itchy resembling an allergic reaction. Both my ob/gyn and my dermatologist said it's not a problem and causes no harm for the baby... still I'd like to know what it may be caused by to try and avoid it, because it is really disturbing...

I have a very retroverted uterus (have had to use the probe at my first two ultrasounds) and am concerned about the risk factors in CVS testing. I am a low risk patient with no history of chromosomal disorders in my family. Should I elect to have the CVS test? I am certainly nervous about miscarriage.

I'm confused about this site. I am 12 weeks 1 day pregnant. But the site wants me to read about week 12. Shouldn't I read about week 12 when I am in week 12??
