The Bump Expert

A chorionicity scan helps determine whether or not your babies are sharing a placenta. If you have a multiple pregnancy, you’ll want to ask for a chorionicity scan to find this out early on so you can determine if your babies are at risk for twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. Babies who do share a placenta should be monitored extra-carefully for this condition to ensure that you have the healthiest pregnancy possible.
