My OB recommend the Netti Pot which helps flush your sinuses with a saline rinse. It worked WONDERS for me as far as being congested and still helps with my occasional Preggie stuffiness.

Musinex during the day and bendryll if really congested is safe according to my ob. Does not hurt the baby at all.

Try hot tea with lemon. I know everyone says that and most don't think it actually works but it did for me. Also try not to go out. Staying inside for 2-3 days will help and it's not that bad as long as you get busy reading and wathcing TV from time to time. I have to say it's nice to see you so concerned for your baby's health. I wish all mothers were like you. Some don't really give too much importance to having a new baby. I know some who even used to hve alcohol and took drugs during pregnancy. Nothing much we can do, only suggest Florida drug rehab or something like that but in the end it's up to them.

My cold turned into bronchitis and I had the worst cough.
