I'm nervous that one of my twin babies will kick the other in utero and hurt them. Does this ever happen/should I even worry?

The Bump Expert Just like singleton babies, twins can sometimes get super-active in the womb. But not to worry -- there's no real threat from it! Babies can kick or even hit each other (yes, really) in utero, but the good news is the amniotic fluid acts as a cushion to protect them from actually getting hurt by any of it.

oh yes they can! i was having my monthly ultrasound a week ago and you could see my two boys hitting and kicking each other like crazy !!! no i know why my belly shakes like jello its because they are having a wrestling match inside me! my doctor said its normal and fine they cant hurt each other. she said it was the coolest twin ultrasound to see them fighting. she said hey don't make me separate you two :)

With our boys we got to witness them kicking eachother bc of how they positioned (T-position) and then they settled down and were behaving for a minute. Baby A then got the hiccups(head down, feet up) so Baby B(sideways) started pinching Baby A's feet. Yes pinching, we got the ultrasound pic to prove it. Then the grudge match continued after the pinching started. Our tech was laughing so hard, she said she has seen twins fight before, but never seen pinching!

My twins are 31 now, but one hit the other on the ultrasound, way back then. They were born healthy;no bruises!
