Your Pregnancy: Week 11

By now, you're surely familiar with the prenatal symphony of burps, flatulence, and rumbling tummy. Small, frequent meals should help with the discomfort. And make sure to eat and drink slowly to prevent swallowing extra air. You'll later use this technique when feeding baby! Prenatal yoga can also help settle down your belly and -- side benefit -- soothe those mood swings.

Baby's now the size of a lime!
Your fetus currently enjoys a 1:1 ratio between body and head, and has skin so transparent that blood vessels show right through it. But fingers and toes are no longer webbed, and hair follicles, tooth buds, and nail beds are forming -- setting up a significantly more attractive future.

To-do:
> Start shopping for maternity clothes
> Reminder: Get your pregnancy books
> Go to your checklist

[ tip ] Take a peek down as you pee. A clear or very pale stream means you're taking in enough fluids. If it's really yellow, you need to up the water intake.

The only thing I'm not loving right now is that I don't fit in any of my clothes but I'm not ready for maternity clothes just yet! This puffy in between stage is not fashionably fun!

by melaniew4

I agree with the in-between stage. This is my third pregnancy, and I remember it all too well from before! I feel "fat" in my regular clothes, yet maternity clothes in my size have too baggy of a belly. So..... ugh. :)

by megglemaccle

I totally agree! I'm 11 weeks today, and Saturday I went shopping and wanted to be comfortable. So I wore a cute-ish pair of prego cargos and spent the whole day pulling them up! It was annoying...but humerous for my friend. :)

by mccannep

I agree with all of you! My first pregnancy and all I feel is really fat. I don't fit well in my regular clothes and I feel weird in maternity clothes this early. So I've relied on my ''fat'' jeans and sweatshirts. yay for cooler weather ( never thought I'd be saying that)

by Iraheath1021

i'm still fitting in my jeans but they are a little tight, with my first son i never bought maternity clothes i bought jeans and pants that were a little bigger and flowie shirts and dresses, maternity clothes fit your belly but the elastic is uncomfortable and the legs are always to big, they should have pregnant women design these clothes

by caseytetrault

Yeah, I'm 11 weeks today also and just like my last pregnancy, I have to attach the stupid rubber band in the button hole and around the button on my pants so my belly has room to breathe! I guess it's time to go shopping for some pants extenders...

by KVD

I am now 11 weeks pregnant and not fitting in any of my clothes but am not quite ready for maternity clothes just yet. My solution...cotton leggings with long sweaters. They are very comfortable and are very fashionable as well. I am always getting compliments on my outfits! Plus it is helping me hide the "chubby" stage!

by alrrla621

So I went to the doctor today and it took like 5 min to find the heartbeat! I thought i was going to loose it! We finally got to hear it, super exciting I must say! But the doctor says my uterus is bigger than she thought it would be, and says we have to have an ultrasound ASAP! Not easy on the nerves!

by twinklytoes11

This is my second preganacy and so far all that I have done is loose weight. I have had really bad morning sickness that lasts all day. I am on meds now so hopefully I will be seeing a bump soon and needing new clothes.

by daisyreign

So I've had an ultrasound and found out I'm only 11 wks. So far the m/s has been the worst this week. I have been feeling pretty good for the past few weeks but this week has been rough!!!

by twinklytoes11

I couldn't agree more! I am ready for this belly, because I am not loving the flabby feeling! :)

by hunterje

Everything still stinks...everything! I can't smell anything, even myself, without becoming grossed out! I can't take showers without becoming nauseated, because the soap and the shower stall stinks...the cats stink, the dog definitely stinks...and if I have to eat one more cracker I'm gonna be sick of those, too. Come on, second trimester...hurry up! As for being fatter, nobody is noticing my belly yet, because I was already chubby. I can feel my tummy getting firmer and rounder, but everybody else just kind of shrugs when I say "look at my belly!" I found great maternity stuff for cheap at Old Navy online. Avoid Target like the plague...there was ONE white maternity blouse and two different kinds of jeans. That's it.

by HamNCheeze

I haven't gained any weight yet. I have had really bad morning sickness -all day long! Doctor gave me medicine to try but it doesn't always help. I am so ready for the second trimester. I am hoping that the sickness will let up this week. Next week is Thanksgiving and I really don't want to get sick on Thanksgiving!

by lisag825

Try the belly Band it helps out when your going through that stage!!

by gannole3

I have not had a bowel movement all week--is this normal? What should I do?

by afalbe02

I agree that this stage is uncomfortable. This is my first pregnancy, and while I am excited to actually look pregnant, I just feel fat right now. I have a wedding to go to tomorrow, and I have no idea what I am going to wear. All I want to do is hang out is baggie sweats. The other problem I am having is that all my underwear is too tight. I never thought that would be such a problem.

by TeachVicky

I don't know how much you're showing, but my last pregnancy I had a wedding at 10 weeks and wore spanx under my dress. They helped but don't make yourself uncomfortable bc you'll be further along than I was! And for the maternity clothes problem, I agree that the Bella band totally helps. You can leave your pants unbuttoned and wear it over your jeans to hold them up. Doesn't do much for my expanding thighs though :)

by alyson005

i'm 11 weeks today and saturday was my last day in size jeans,oh well looks like i'll be wearing my cotton tight stretch pants from this point on!Thank god their in style.

by lorianded

In the tip it says to see if you're properly hydrated, to look at the color of your urine... but how could this be accurate with the prenatal vitamin turning it bright neon yellow? Maybe I'm just not awake yet, but this doesn't make sense to me.

by zionsmama

I'm 11 weeks today and I still fit my regular clothes...I barely have a belly yet!

by lisabrevil

i thought i was at 8 weeks but at my first appt yesterday they said i was ten weeks...is it too late to hope for a heartbeat or could it still start this week?? they said they didn't find one but they also didn't see teh baby until they did an internal ultrasound...is there any hope or am i going to have to miscarry??

by jamiedawn11963

From what i can gather from my wife..once the cloths didnt fit she got maternity cloths cause there the most comfortable thing shes ever worn...and u can find really cute stuff..ppl would harld even know, till the belly catches up

by lilmssmilez

I am 11 weeks also today! My clothes are tighter and i have a smaller size maternity pants that my friend gave me that fit wonderfully! They are not the size I will need as i get farther along but right now at this in between stage they work great! This is my 3rd child so the weight and awkwardness hit a little early on me!

by ashleealbert

I have no belly but my hips are so wide, I cant do hardly any of my pants up. We had a pelvic ultrasound at 10 weeks and they saw everything and heard the heart beat - made me cry!

by LEKTRex

I'm 11 weeks today and I feel fat and bloated, but I am still fitting into my regular pants. Some of my tops are getting pretty interesting, as I have recently had to go up one cup size. If the girls get any bigger I will need to buy maternity tops!

by ladyram09

Glad to hear I'm not the only one, I look like I have a beer belly and I'm in between clothes which sucks. I usually wear sweatpants, but when I'm going somewhere and want to wear jeans, I have this thing called the tummy sleeve. It's this spandex type band u put over the top of your pants so that way u can wear ur pants unbuttoned and unzipped if necessary, it's pretty handy!

by susie985

I'm 11w3d with twins! I'm showing already. I've been living in my yoga pants, and I bought two pairs of maternity pants, one is still too big. I did buy a bella band, and the problem I had with that was that I always felt like I was loosing my pants, ie they would fall down... lots of tugging and adjusting.

by PJ72

Someone recommended to me the 'belly band" available at stores like Target. It's kind of like a headband for your eaist. You can unbutton and unzip your regular pants and the belly band keeps them up. Nice in the transition stage :)

by jill_vernon

The first 9 weeks I lost about 10lbs and I only gained 3 back. So all my clothes are falling off. I can feel myself getting bigger though and I'm so happy about it. I tend to just stay in PJs the whole day unless I'm going somewhere like school or my cousin-in-laws christmas eve party. Which I have nothing to wear to a party.

by rachel_harbison

I agree with melanie....i am at the point where its like " is she pregnant or just packing on the pounds?" I want to look cute, but I look bloated all the time. I cant wait until that feeling goes away!

by spezialk518

I agree with melanie....i am at the point where its like " is she pregnant or just packing on the pounds?" I want to look cute, but I look bloated all the time. I cant wait until that feeling goes away!

by spezialk518

I am just so very excited about this stage and lime size baby! I can't wait to not just look bloated and actually look like I have a baby in my belly... ya.

by brianak

I too am having trouble with the puffy in between stage, but I found a belt called the belly belt. They sell it at local reatilers it is about $17. You can wear it with any pants and it if cannot button them it hides the open zipper area and helps tuck a little. It is great! Also ask a friend or relative that is a bit bigger than you if you can borrow a few things for a little while.

by suzieq1121

I'm plus size, so I don't have the option of "fat jeans". I'm 11 weeks today and have lost 7lbs total this first trimester. Even though I've lost some weight, my regular pants just aren't fitting right. I purchased a few pair of low panel maternity pants and they have been a God send!

by swilson274

i agree! the "be band" is the best thing in the world! it's like a big elastic band that goes around your pants and holds them up while hiding the fact that they are not buttoned or zipped! and i'm also loving the fact that in-style shirts are baggy in the waist!

by princesschristy3683

Maybe I'm abnormal? But I still fit in my clothes...my stomach shows but I am not at all uncomfortable :)

by scotts7

Buy the Be/Bella Band from Target!!! It's AWESOME! It's about $18 and allows you to wear pre-pregnancy pants with the button un-done and just the zipper up-- the band prevents them from falling down and showing your undies. Mine is black and kinda elastic but it looks like a layered tank top with other shirts! I've found it's a wonderful transitition from starting to show to the big step of buying and wearing maternity clothes.

by ladyofshalott

I'm not yet there.. I still fit in all my clothes.. but I'm looking forward to having that baby bump :)

by Whitney_Shepherd

Try using a rubber band to keep wearing your same pre-pregnancy pants. Its a great idea for those in between stages. Just loop it through the hole & then around the button of your pants. Also flowy shirts help hide this. Its a very cheap way :)

by ltlsparrow

I'm am also in that in-between stage. I bought a bella band a couple of weeks ago and used it just the other day. It seems to work pretty well. It allows you to wear your regular pants longer. http://www.ingridandisabel.com/ I'm hoping it will last me until I am ready for maturnity cloths.

by melfish78

I have started using the Beband, it's great for being able to fit your regular clothes and if you have maternity clothes, it holds them up because I cannot fit into any of my regular pants and maternity are too big still!

by cmaleman1008

I am glad that I am not the only one who feels fat and does not have any clothes that seem to fit. For the weekends, I have been living in yoga pants and for work, dresses because they don't feel too tight....I started looking at maternity but like others they all seem WAY to big for the belly.

by AshieKD

I am right there with all of you. Finally people who are going through the smae thing. Ihave looped a rubber band around my button hole on my jeans and then attach it to the button. It works for now and is a lot more comfortable. A friend suggested it and it works!

by pe_painter@hotmail.com

This stage is the worst, clothing wise. I use my be-band when I can, but I'm still a little to small for that, but a little to big to button my pants. I have a hard time with shirts! All my shirts look to tight & it looks like I'm rocking a beer gut. :( I guess in a few more weeks it might turn into an actual bump.

by Lovies103

So, I had been really sick since week 6 and since last Friday (week 10) I have felt really good almost back to normal my nipples aren't even sore anymore. Is this normal? Should i just be thankful that hopefully my hormones are balancing out or could this mean something is wrong and my hormone levels are going down?

by simkel

I feel fat, and i have really bad nausea :( ...did i mention that i'm pregnant with twins....that's why! ;D

by simsgaby

I can totally relate to the, "burps, flatulence, and rumbling tummy". As for my pee, has anybody else noticed a different tint? Mine isn't necessarily darker, just brighter. Is this from the pregnancy or the prenatal vitamins? -- I looked up week 11 on a separate website and to me the baby takes an almost gummy bear appearance. =)

by Jenerra

I am in the same boat. This weekend I discovered that it is no longer comfortable to button my pants so I got a belly band to put around the top of my pants. I can leave them unbuttoned, but don't need maternity clothes yet. I love it!

by wkrawls

The in between stage is starting to get to me too. I'm too big for my normal clothes, and not big enough for my "fat" clothes. I'm getting a belly band this weekend to help with the transition!

by betheppert

You can use a belly band to either wear your 'regular' clothes unbuttoned, or keep those slightly too big maternity pants up! I've been using it for the later as this is Baby #4 and I'm totally out of my 'regular' stuff :)

by JESMom5

Oh dear! I'm 11 weeks today and I'm still wearing my regular clothes but the thing is I don't fit into my skinny jeans that much anymore because of the bloating. I refuse to be one of those girls who dress up in sweatpants and sweatshirts!!! Ewwww!! Good thing is I'm short so shopping for regular clothes but in bigger sizes will not be a prob lem for me :D.

by alma_vargas

I totally agree with the jeans / pants not fitting. I'm 37, had a baby 19 months ago....i wore my normal clothes until at least 18 wks. Now at 11 wks....i'm already uncomfortable in my pants. Guess i'll be shopping this weekend.

by LadyInWaiting72

I'm thinking about looking into a belly band and see what that is all about. I already had to buy bigger jeans because of the fact that before I got pregnant my pants fitten just so but now they don't fit at all. So now I'm thinking about getting back into them with a belly band and see how it feels.

by bmwbritt

UGH i hear ya there!!! it stinks cause your normal clothes are NOT fitting so well but the same goes for the maternity clothes its like i cant win! normal clothes are to small and maternity ones are to big!! I am 11 wks today with my 2nd and i started showing very early with my first child and now i am showing really early with this one!!

by krmiranda

This is my first pregnancy and I just purchased a couple "belly bands" and I love them. I just wear them over my regular jeans, but I don't button them or even zip some of them, the belly bands go right over the jeans and they feel great!

by stephanieaboone

same here i cant fit none of my pants besides sweatpants and pj pants i love being pregnant but this puffy stuff is really bugging me

by jadesmommie2508

It seems like i have had no symptoms...Wats wrong with me???

by kksilly45

I'd say you're just lucky. Some people don't really have any sympoms while bieng pregnant. I say again, LUCKY! lol

by jandrade65

I agree with you ladies! I'm almost 12 weeks as most of you and it's my first pregnancy. I wear nursing scrubs, and I have to keep yanking them either below or on top of my pudgy area on my stomach. I tried buying maternity clothes this past weekend, but I don't know how big I'm going to get, and it was way big in the belly area...frustrating when my normal clothes show every extra bulge, but the maternity clothes look huge on me yet. Anyone else excited to find out what you're having?!

by brogleys2b

I'm starting to show for sure and my jeans have been fitting tightly for over a week now, but I love being comfortable and I welcome the maternity clothes. Bought my first pair of jeans on Friday and I'm so happy! I got the ones that have the high belly panel and that definitely helped to keep them pulled up.

by brittsweets

I am at that funny in between stage -- I have found that a belly band is the best way to keep up too big maternity pants -- or even keep your pre-pregnancy pants up while they are unfastened!

by HeatherGail26

The belly band is great way to transition your clothes! Ebay has them for as low as $5.00 plus shipping. They work well if you want to leave your regular jeans unbuttoned or to tighten up loose maternity pants that are still to big for our little bumps.

by Traceymommy4ever

It's terrible! I wear my clothes and i feel like a sausage. LOL!

by tmgato04

They have this cool new thing called a belly band you can get them at any maternity clothing store and i even saw them at target last night they are great you can keep wearing your regular clothes and just leave them unbuttoned at the top ;)

by kyleersecrist

I am 11 weeks 3 days and don't have a belly yet, just this new "layer" of puffiness around my stomach, which makes me feel less than attractive. I teach 7th and 8th graders, and if you want to feel scrutinized just stand in front of them all day! Most days I wear a "mod" dress with colorful tights, a cardigan, a scarf, and comfortable flat leather boots. I am definitely ready for this fluffy stage to turn into something that resembles a baby bump!

by LeahWilberts

i wear my pants undone and either sticking out or tucked in...and a lot of sweatshirts for now at 11wks 4days today and cold outside it works. but the nausa, gas and constipation i can surely do without! :) the little booger will be worth it though :)

by skeeterneely

I can't button my pants...the bellaband has been a lifesaver!

by mrsmatthewcook

I wan't ready for Maternity clothes either but once i bougt a pair of the pants I didn't want to take them off. They're soooooo comphy!!!

by Jeezbreez19

i found some maternity jeans at target. they are skinny jeans and have elastic you can adjust. they are wonderful!

by joolz425

love to read how baby is so big and fully formed!!! lucky me still fit in my regular cloth, except my bras, and have no idea how to buy new ones this weekend...

by beauluisafer

I feel weird now b/c I still fit into all my clothes, and I'm talking about the clothes I had to loose weight to fit in. I guess that's a good thing, but listening to you all is making me a bit concerned. I have dr's apt tomorrow, so I guess I'll check with her to make sure everything is moving along as it should. ~ congrats to everyone ~

by imariec

i HATE how im gettin fat so fast im already showing i mean im happy but that means more clothes and when i get BIGGER i wanna look pretty i still cant find any cute maternity jeans that will look pretty but im going thrue it i guess this is what happens!!!

by chenita29

I can still wear my jeans, but they tend to dig a little bit into my belly. Thankfully I have some pants that are a bit big, but I agree, not too fashionable!

by amandabananda

I definitely agree! I really don't like this in between stage. I'm only a few lbs heavier yet my pants are really uncomfortable. I am 11 weeks. I bought wind pants with stretchy waist. Hopefully that will last me until the summer at least!

by JBKirby08

I went to Target and bought an elastic type product in the maternity section. This helps me to keep wearing my pants unbuttoned and they also suggest wearing it for too loose of maternity pants. I love it!! It makes my clothes last longer and they are more comfortable.

by cherylclosson

Yeah little lime! Is anyone else really excited to get through the first trimester so that your mind will be at ease about the whole miscarriage thing? Going to the doctor only every 4 weeks is making me crazy. Oh well! Really excited to start showing soon and am happy I am feeling better!

by Nickeyh

I've been using the "Bella Band" to help keep me in my regular work pants and jeans until I am ready for maternity clothes. Really helpful! And I no longer feel like I am bursting out of my clothes!

by MrsHayes3

Im still fitting in my jeans, although the button can be uncomfortable, so i've just been leaving them unbuttoned and wearing long enough shirts to cover it... problem solved!

by LottElan

I agree they should have pregnant women or women who have been pregnant design maternity clothes. The elastic is uncomfortable espeically if you still have some symptoms of feeling sick. Im 11 wks and everytime i eat i juss feel even fatter that i already feel ugh...so not cool

by bbybook113

Yes, the puffy in between stage is definitely not fun! I am 11 weeks today too and have also purchased one pair of maternity jeans...when I wear them I'm super comfy, but have to constantly pull them up as well. My regular jeans fit, but I'm uncomfortable when I sit for long periods of time... I'm wearing lots of scarves to cover up my bloat until week 13...fingers crossed!!!

by Kaycee2009

im 11 weeks and doing good im still in all my clothes from b 4 i was prego so that mekes me happy!!!if u have something that dosnt fit try the bella band it is great makes things it like they should and ur more confy 2!!!

by kirsten89

I was lucky enough to drop 30 pounds before I got pregnant, so my old pants, tshirts and sweaters all will fit when I get bigger, at 11 weeks I can still wear my skinny jeans =oD

by BabyGirlCupCake

I just bought a bella band, and that is a life saver with work pants. But before I did that, I just used a hair tie for my jeans! It seriously works, and better yet, with your shirt covering it, no one even notices it. :) But I'm 11 weeks, and feel chunky in the tummy region. I don't look pregnant, I just look like I ate too much. ..... such a gross look!

by maulis86

This is the time that yoga pants come in handy they are comfy and they don't look as sluggish as sweats all day lol

by krystalgem85

All of my jeans won't button, but I don't look or feel any bigger... I'm still way too small to fit into anything maternity. So what I do is wear my jeans unbuttoned with a bandeau covering the button and zipper so it kind of looks like an undershirt. It's pretty comfortable :)

by SamJay21

I also agree with all of you. This is my first pregnancy and I must say compared to the shape I was in before...I feel huge, I can't fit into any of my clothes anymore and my mother being since this is her first grandchild is trying to get me to shop for maternity clothes already so her grandchild could be comfortable...lol, so i have to walk around looking like a bag lady until I can actually fit the maternity clothes, oh what fun!

by msharrington83

Glad to see others are feeling the same. This is my first pregnancy and I can't help but think I'm a fatty. Thanks for the comments ladies!

by shancrone

Thank heavens for a belly band! I would not survive without one right now. I was moving between sizes when I found out I was pregnant anyways, so my clothing was starting to feel a little snug. Snug clothing and morning sickness do not mix! I wear a stretchy Bee Band and that helps me get more use out of my old clothing as well as wear a few maternity items I don't quite fit yet.

by bcpickles

I agree with the not fiting anything thats my own unless its sweats or jogging or yoga pants----and maternity clothes are WAYYY big now! lol I am also not loving craving foods that are not available to me right when i crave them. lol BUT I am siked to know I will be able to feel the baby kicking in about a month or so!!! YAY!

by mscoblentz

Im enjoying every bit of this..its a wonderful experience....i love my baby bump

by mstausha

This is my third, and for some reason I am showing much more than I did with my last two! I didnt think mat clothes were a must yet, but I splurged on some jeans with the belly band. As long as I keep the band folded, the pants fit great and I can BREATHE again! Yay!

by Room41More

I am feeling the "bloat" so I have just purchased jeans and pants one size bigger. I figure they will be great for right after I give birth and just need the little extra room also. I am just paring the jeans with longer t-shirts and blouses.

by lisareece

Hi everyone! I'm new here so nice to meet you all. As far as clothes, I spent the day putting all of my regular jeans in tupperware bins. I went to the salvation army and picked up some cheap temporary pants a few sizes larger than I'm used to and it has made a world of difference! Although it sure took a little toll on my ego. Goodbye favorite clothes, hello size 7s?!

by wildefrost

This is my third pregnancy and the in-betwen stage is not fun. I am still in my regular cloths, however this time I am prepared! I have purchased a Belly Band. You can still where your regular cloths, but you just don't have to button up your pants! Brilliant really! I haven't tried it yet, but it's there for when I need it! My girlfirend used one and she says it just looks like you are wearing a tank top!

by ECA2010

I'm 11 weeks with my first but I have 3 older sisters. They all told me to get a belly belt. This way you can continue to wear your old pants (with the buttons undone and the zipper down) and they stay up comfortably. You can also use this for maternity clothes that are too big still because it will help keep them up. Best $18 I've spent since I found out I was pregnant.

by hwhager07

Luckily, I live in a warm area: LA. I've starting wearing my old summer dresses and they are so comfortable, stylish and they make me feel feminine. You can add leggings and a cardigan to keep you warmer too.

by dreadancer

I fit into my jeans but can no longer button them ... so, I went to 'Motherhood Maternity' w/my husband and we got this stretchy piece of fabric that covers up where I can't button me jeans. It's pretty cool. I'm usually a size Medium ... so, I've bought some flowy shirts that are size Large for my little baby bump.

by BMWbaby87

I HATE feeling like my pants are too tight. I found the cutest maternity jeans at gap. They have a 2 inch elastic waistband, so they don't really feel like maternity clothes. They are really cute and no one can tell the difference. Now I am comfortable. phew!

by simonbo8880

Thank God that I have you guys! I'm 11 weeks and I'm not ready for maternity clothes yet. My regular clothes feel tight, but the maternity clothes are still too baggy! How do you cope!?

by alvaradomama

Get a tummy sleeve. It's awesome. You wear your jeans and put the tummy sleeve over them so you can't tell that you can't shut them. Then your shirt goes over top of it. It looks like your wearing two shirts. I love it

by jsnowlover

First pregnancy and I just feel really fat too. I bought some maternity clothes, so I don't wake up one morning with nothing to wear but they are still too big.

by drmarti2

You guys are lucky! I had to start wearing maternity clothes at 9 weeks because i bloated up so bad in my belly area that it was completley ridicuolous to think that i caould wear my regular clothes!! But i like maternity clothes, they're so comfy! Just give in and let it happen!

by jj10108

anyone have any advice on what to do about wearing suits?? I dont fit into my suits but need to wear them for work etc

by acblanco

I bought a BellaBand, this solves the problem for most pants that I can't button anymore. I did find a nice pair of maternity dress pants with a band too, that seem to fit the bill right now.

by jcmboyer

by jcmboyer

My bellaband and leggings have been my saviors! Can't fit into most of my pre-pregnancy pants, but didn't want to spend a ton on maternity pants just yet. The bellaband is wonderful!! Although I did get some maternity shirts and dresses...they are so comfortable!

by Zemmiphobia

I am with all of you my pants are too tight but maternity clothes are to big! I was told to try Old Navy though because they have Maternity clothes that are in stages (0-3mo, 3-6 mo, etc.) I am ready to just have the actual bump!

by mrseljuri

Belly Band girls!! Its amazing. It turns your pre prego pants into maternity pants! Google it or Target has them for $16! I love mine I can wear my regular jeans & not feel fat =)

by hickmankh

I bought the belly band, and will probably have to start using it soon, but it's really helpful! You can leave your jeans unzipped and put it over the zipper, so it looks like you're wearing a long tank top! I can't wait until people actually think i'm pregnant, and not just gaining a few pounds!

by lifestooshort128

You guys are all lucky I went through a bad relationship phase so I gained weight as it was so not much fit me anyways now nothing fits and its annoying but completely worth it :)

I am in the middle of my 11th week and I totally feel all of you. Ive just started getting a little pudgy and none of my regular jeans will button and the maturnity pants that I have bought wont stay up all the way. Ive resorted to safety pinning my pants together or just wearing lounge pants (which I wont be able to do much longer because its getting soooo hot outside).

by jhwilliams98

This is my first time pregnant and I feel alot discomfort in my belly, is that normal?

by nachavira90

I'm also 11 weeks today and I'm not loving this in between stage, either... I have a bit of a bump but it's tiny - I mean, it's big enough where my regular pants don't fit but small where maternity clothing is too big! UGH! This fashion netherworld is no fun!

by MrsAlzola

YAY!!! The first trimester is almost over!!

by shawna440

Black yoga pants are your friend and the empire waist shirts that are so popular! This is my second and I bought some post preggo clothes that are working fabulously for this in between stage. A few pieces make a huge difference in your overall view of self. It's worth it because you'll use them in the months after baby is born too!

Yes is is horrible feeling like a cow at only 11 wweeks. None of my jeans fit anymore. All I wear is sweat pants. I have a pair of maternity capris but but are they are huge still. Also this is my tird pregnancy I have had to c sections already and I am beginning to feel the pain that I felt at 7 months, but I have to work right.... so I just take it in.

i dont feel like im bigger at all. a little bloated after i eat but all of my jeans still button and i have no sort of bulging. should i be worried?

by chelseamariethomas

I can't wait till I stop feeling fat and start feeling pregnant. None of my jeans or regular clothes really fit anymore, unless they are stretchy. I totally agreee about the puffy stage, not fashionably fun at all. I do have a question tho, I am 11 weeks today, and wondering when do I begin to show? I feel as if I am showing but then again that may just be me feeling fat and puffy. I feel bigger but not all that sure. This is deffinately the biggest I've ever been. ugh! This is my first pregnancy, and hating the nausea completely. Hopefully one or two more weeks of this. :)

by tamara2909

Honestly Ive never been more comfortable than in maternity clothes. This is my first pregnancy and I was on prochieve from 3 wks to 10wks and was very bloated. As soon as my clothes got uncomfortable I bought the belly band and some maternity clothes. Pulling them up every now and than is worth the comfort. Plus, I didnt want to buy "bigger" clothes since I indeed to drop back to my pre-baby weight by 6 months. The best maternity pants I found was Kohl's and I also bought VERY comfortable gouchos from Target. Those are my favorite. Summer/spring dresses have also been such a comfort zone!! I hated feeling fat and still do. Believe me I've balled my eyes out in dressing rooms but my sister told me, be comfortable and don't wear anything snug, being comfortable helps your mood too. She was totally right!

by Florita626

My pants dont button): And my friends and family laugh at me cause I always walk around with my jeans unbuttoned. But I'm gonna start wearing sweatpants all the time. Gah. I feel so fat...

by Breeanaa

Have any of you ladies started to show? Im 11 weeks and feel as if I could be but not all that sure because it could just be bloating or puffiness.

by tamara2909

How do I know when to start the registry. I am still unsure on what to get and I am only 11 weeks right now. This will be my first!

by MsDonDon10

I love that it's almost Summer! I've been taking advantage of all my sundresses. If I can wear these dresses all summer I don't think I'll have to buy maternity until 6 or 7 months along...if that. Now underwear on the other hand...blech.

by mleemahon

ha ha.... I too am 11 weeks today and I tried to wear my 1st pair of maternity capris as my normal pants are far too snug... and I also spent the whole day pulling my pants up my husband found it very funny!!..Guess we need that big ol' belly to help us hold up our pants!! :D

by Gelygal

Here is a tip for making your jeans or pants with a button fit a little longer. Loop a rubber band through the button hole on your jeans and then wrap it around the button itself to give you a little extra room. I use the kind of elastic hair rubber band I'd use for my hair. I'm 11 weeks and not quit ready for maternity pants yet and this trick works for now.

by pam0221

I'm always hungry but don't want to eat or do not know what to eat. I don't fit into my clothes & I'm starting to get asked if my prenant by my co-workers. I don't even feel like working, i just want to lie in bed & sleep all day. I don't like being this lazy, besides that i am loving being pregnant; can't wait till I start showing more.

by Yaya1520

Im Eleven Weeks, && Yesterday Me && My Boyfriend Went To My OB App, && Tried Hearing The Heart Beat, && No Sound!! It Scared The Hell Out Of Us, But They Did An Ultersound, && My Baaby Is Still There(: It Was Just To Early To Hear The Heart Beat, Talk About Heart Attack.!! But They Thought I Was 12 Weeks, So I Found Out That I Wasnt!

by CourtneyBaaby

Im at 11 weeks and I've gained one pound is that normal? My doc didn't say anything about it.

by candygirlshy

Glad to see I'm not the only one just feeling "puffy" at this stage. I'm also in my "fat" jeans and comfy pants - Hoping I can go a few more weeks before buying real maternity clothes.

by accykatie04

The BEST thing to buy during this stage is the belly band. They are so comfortable and allow you to wear all your clothing until you fit into maternity. I am 11 weeks and loving my belly band!

by mmcassidy

I also have the in-between stage were nothing really fits right. A client of mine gave me a great idea that will save a few bucks on maternity pants. When your pants can go on ok and zip up but wont exactly button, use a rubber band and loop it through the button opening and then secure it around the button. I did that this weekend and it works like a charm!!

by vmr22

oh man...i'm glad to hear i am not the only one feeling "thicker" these days. This is my third pregnancy and my lime is making me look like I'm 18 weeks already! it is quite the hassle getting dressed these days. thank goodness for summer flowy dresses!

by Rubertsmommy

Totally agree with all of you although some of my pants still fit great. Like three don't but the rest are still ok. 

by Lilydd28

Okay, I'm 11 weeks pregnant and quite frankly, I'm a bitch! I feel really bad for my husband but I can't help it, any suggestions to make feel better?

by hreese78

Starting to round out a lil, cant fit my pants anymore which sucks! But all in all I would say that everything is going great. Not as tired as I was before, now I can actually get some stuff done! yay for that!

by rachelrivera850

im only 3 months but look like im 6 months. i am hungry all the time. i am due dec 7 and hoping 4 a girl.

by rondadrama39

Try the Bella Band! It slides over the top of your jeans (too small pre-preggers or too big maternity) and helps with the difference. I don't button the top of my regular jeans and the band keeps them held up. I love mine!

by pamelabrown

I’m 11 weeks pregnant with twins and my clothes are already starting to be tight and uncomfortable. But the change into all maternity clothes is not in my mind just yet!!! I’m thinking its time to start going to into the belly bands, so I can wear my good jeans, and slacks, esp for this summer, I love my shorts and skirts.

by melissaannec

Omg. I am SO jealous, I'm 11w2d this week.. I am a average-looking girl, eat the whole time, rarely have a BM, yet, NOTHING shows on my belly:P I dont even have a small bump. Tho, I can feel that the jeans are a bit tighter on my hips to get up, but I have NO belly. I am sligthly looking forward to haveing the belly, cuz I have seen the most adorable thing I can wear:) Congrats to every woman on pasing the most sceptic face of the pregnancy < />

All of these comments are so spot on! I basically walk around with my jeans undone all day, but I'm not big enough for maternity jeans yet. One thing that I did do was buy myself several cute loose fitting cotton/jersy blouses to wear in a size up. They are super soft and comfy and I can wear them for another two months I think. I highly recommend going that route until you are really showing. :)

by robindameshe

My pants have become painful so I gave in and bought maternity clothes, I have to pull my pants up often, but at least I'm not in pain! I tried my "fat" pants and it just made me feel miserable and they looked awful. I have to say, maternity pants are a lot more comfortable than they were 9 years ago when I was pregnant with my first!

by eaburger09

finding clothes to wear to work is becomind a depressing chore, nothing fits, the zipper doesn't even pull up half way and for some reason all of my tops aren't quite long enough to cover my bump. i think that's my hint to start shopping for maternity clothes.

by giddygrl

I am also in that in between stage were my pants dont fit but maternity pants are too big, i found belly bands to be a huge help, they keep my regular pants up and the bigger belly in the maternity pants where it needs to be, and it is great cause it looks like you are layering your shirts, no one is the wiser. Got mine at target.

by emsmom41

Question.... When does the baby start growing sex organs so i can find out boy or girl :)

by Kirsten333

Frist pregnancy, is anyone expereicing very mild to not so mild pelvic cramping?? I am 11 weeks andactually look 14 wks. got it bad, only in the stomach.

by mscope2

Leggins are good...that's what i wear with long fashionable tops

by sobeida24

I agree the awkward in between maternity clothes and regular clothes stage, is terrible! But I got a Bella Band to wear with my regular jeans it allows me to keep my pants unbuttoned but still keeps them up, it is actaully comfortable.

by nikkiturner

i am at that middle stage too! so i got a few flowy maxi dresses. great for hot days and then on the chilly days i put a cute sweater and boots with them. they will be great for when i get bigger but still super cute right now and so comfy

by tauruscnstars3

I don't really know how far along I am. I calculated from the first day of my last period and I would be 11 weeks. went to the Dr. last week adn they did an ultrasound and said that I am only 8 weeks. Now I am confused as to how big my baby is and how far along I am. Has anyone else experienced this?

by karibyrd

wow...i thought i was the only one who is feeling like they have nothing to wear because im still not ready for maternity clothes but my regular clothes are are too tight...spring dresses have become my best friend for now.

by decemberflower18

I loved my "secret belly" jeans with my first son but I'm not quite there yet. I noticed with this pregnancy I'm getting bigger much faster. My jeans didnt get tight until I was into my second trimester.

by cmtalluto

I feel the same way! I got some prego pants and I spend all day pulling them up. I bought a bella band and have ended up putting that over my 'too big' preggo pants to help me hold them up. BTW....the bella band is an amazing thing! Look it up- it really does work!!!

by crazymered

I love the belly band I got from Target. Allows me to wear my regular pants withough actually buttoning them! Makes live so much easier!

by metiffi

Look for a belly band or tummy sleeve... It allows you to wear your fav pants unbuttoned so it helps with this aweful transitional stage!

by thannam82

"Motherhood" has the best maternity clothes for the early months. I'll 11 weeks and am very comfortable. They have this belly band that goes completely around on all their pants, capris, & shorts. They fit great now and will be perfect even when i'm as big as a house. :)

by phoffman79

bought my first pair of maternity jeans this past weekend, they are SO much more comfortable than my pre-pregnancy jeans. Plus they show off the little bump I have going :-)

by dixiesweetheart0522

I agree with you all about this horrible "in between" stage. None of my clothes fit and I just look fat in everything, yet maternity clothes are still too big. I want a real bump already!

by Mrslovebugs

I am 11 weeks today and I still fit in all of my clothes and no belly....still waiting!

by kbatrice

I am still wearing my regular clothes just had to buy the belly bands because I cannot button my pants but I can still zipper them up, LOL!!!!! But it helps so you don't have to rush and buy maternity clothes.

by foxyjoseph

thank god my jeans still fit but it feels really weird when i have them on just on my stomach part feels like its tooo tight so when im at work i unbotton it im really excited cant wait for my 1st ultrasound

by roxy1985

I agree right now I just feel fat not pregnant! lol

by Vero11

I am kind of there now, I am 11 weeks today, I can still fit my clothes, but they are becoming uncomfortable. I thought I was buying maternity shirts but they do not seem to fit, oh welll, guess I'll be taking them back, my husband said they won't fit me past 3 more months...lol!

by zoporiah.cassell

I went shopping for maternity clothes about 2 weeks ago because my pants no longer button, lol...PLEASE ladies, don't feel discouraged about the maternity clothes. I managed to fing the COOLEST stuff to wear at ROSS. All the pants that I bought have a 3 inch elastic waistband that not only makes them fit me now, but will fit when I'm 9 months along. Don't feel as if you have to spend a fortune on clothes that you don't think you'll wear for very long. When I tell people that these are maternity clothes that I'm wearing, they are SHOCKED!!

by Nancy36c

hear hear ladies on the too fat for regular clothes but not ready for maternity pantaloons. sigh. i have one pair of jeans and one pair of work pants on constant recycle. curses winter!

by gracelikerain316

I'm in the in between stage too :(. my jeans don't fit, so I have a band thing, but everything else is just awkward right now. I can't wait to get big enough to get maternity clothes so I can look halfway normal!

by branlynn

I got to hear the heart beat today and it was so great to hear it!

by schootersgrl01

Old Navy maternity has really good in between clothes. They have some pants and jeans that have just a little elastic around the waistband instead of going right to those really big ones that conver your whole stomache.

by gmfell

I agree with all of you on the clothing issues. I have found my saving grace....Bebands (belly bands). They have allowed me to continue to wear my regular clothes just unbuttoned or zipper down. No one even notices. I use an elastic around the button and through the hole for added security and then throw on my Beband. It simply looks like I am wearing a fashionable camisole...the Bebands even come in styles with lace trim....very trendy.

by acapano

HAHA! I agree! I am in that stage where none of my jeans fit, but I'm not sure if maternity clothes are in order just yet. SO it looks like I am going shopping very soon. Oh, darn. ;P

by jmul10

my strategy is comfortable cotton dresses for right now.... glad I am not alone though!

by geminibrooke

I almost dread my afternoon naps... If I can't lay down for a full two hours, I wake up nauseated, weak and really really cranky, even if I laid down feeling fine! Is there anything i can do to feel better when I wake up? It makes me dread getting tired in the afternoon! I am 11 1/2 weeks now... I know, the rough part is almost over, thank you.

by endicottl

I thought I was too small for maternity clothes still, but when I went to try them on, I found that a lot of them fit pretty well. And they are DEFINITELY more comfortable than my regular clothes! I bought them slightly big, but I haven't had any trouble with them falling down or anything. Maybe I'm just bigger than I thought! :-)

by bellalynne25

I feel the same way, uncomfortable in regular pants, but I'm swimming in the maternity clothes. But someone told me to loop a ponytail holder around the pant button, stick thru the button hole and back around the button. My regular pants fit great with that little bit of extra room. I think they sell actual pant extenders at walmart.

by EmilyDanielGregBomleny

this is my first child and i started showing when I was 5 weeks... now i am 11 weeks and i can only fit into my maternity clothing it realy sucks... Everyone is thinking we are going to have twins by how big i am right now and i am still in my first trimester...

by ElizabethAIvich

Get a Belly Band!!! I bought mine at Target and they work well for when you are between regular clothes and maternity clothes. you can leave you pants undone and the belly band will hold your pants up no problem! I LOVE MINE!

by aprilriggi

Thank God I am not the only 1 feeling this way...This is my 1st pregnancy and I am 11 weeks tomorrow and I am so uncomfortable...I feel FAT! Nothing fits and everything is tight all I do is lay around in my sweats and my baggy shirts...not sure how I am going to pull of my 2piece swim suit for the 4th of July tom...this could be interesting!! LOL

by sasha7468

This is my third pregnancy and I have had to give up most of my regular summer clothes already....I think I am up a size before I got pregnant versus last summer so I am already in my maternity clothes and they will not fit much past next month!! I guess I will have to buy a few pairs of pants (in a larger size) and wear my hubby's shirts towards the end!!!

by llewelynfamily

I'm also 11weeks. I cant button any of my pants! I had to buy a BellaBand, now I can wear my pre-pregnancy pants. I'm still too small for actual maternity clothes. I cant believe this kid is already the size of a lime. :)

by Newmama67

i cant wait to start to show, but i think its going to be a while until i need maternity clothes

by laurenbz

I had to laugh, they say to start buying maternity clothes by now, but I only weigh 105 lbs. I don't even show. lol. The only thing I have is the upset tummy. Even crackers don't settle it.

by EssaG12

I have a question and SOME concern here.. I am going to be/supposed to be a first time mother.. I went in for an ultrasound about a week ago at 10w4d and they had trouble finding the baby and the heartbeat. The doctor doing the ultrasound said there was plenty of amniotic fluid and they found the yolk sac but the baby looked very small.. And that one side of my uteran wall looked like it was "collapsing".. but nothing was confirmed, naturally, hearing this I completely broke down.. He said it looks like I am headed for a miscarriage but I have had no bleeding, no spotting or cramping/pain.. and I went to take a blood test for the hormone that the baby gives off and the results came back very high.. I have one more test to take to see if the levels drop or go higher or stay the same.. what does this mean for me and my baby?? Is the the pregnancy viable?..

by punkabillymama08

I went out yesterday and bought a belly band it works so good because I am 11 weeks and i'm in between maternity clothes and regular ones It helps...

by theresa0208

Remember that an OB is not your only option. Look into a Midwife if you are low risk, you might be surprised at what you find. They are just for hippies anymore.

by emink

My pants are starting to get a little tight, enough so that they're uncomfortable to wear. I've been sticking with dresses, thank goodness it's summer. People have told me it's time to start shopping for maternity clothes, but I just feel ready for that yet.

by Annierose1

i couldnt keep food down because of morning sickness now carnt eat because i got loads of mouth ulsers iv lost weigh and am smaller than befor i became pregnant just trying to eat small amounts xx

by becky6210

my dr office gave me a "pregnancy planner." so far i found 1 tip that has worked for me. my regular pants are just a bit snug right now and the planner says to loop a hair tie around the button of your jeans then through the button hole and back around the button again. it has worked great for me so far!

by soon2bmrsmusick

I'm at 11 weeks too... and The Belly Band is a solution to all problems :) It lets you still wear all of your clothes (pants which is my biggest problem) with the top button undone and it just looks like you have a tank top underneath !:) hope it works for you too

by jillandpaulbaby

Well tosay I am 11 weeks and I have been wearing maternity clothes for about 2 weeks know. They fit me so well I can't hide me belly if I tried to. But my question is this, is it way to early to be showing b/c I def have ben for awhile. I know that everybody's body is different. My godsister found out she was preggoat 10 weeks and she already had a bump and she was so tiny . Can anyone answer that question for me please

by jessica65243

I've started borrowing clothes 1-2 sizes larger than usual from friends, especially khaki pants for work. I gave up on jeans for now, and bough a few dresses, some stretchy and some with empire waists. Jeans have just become so uncomfortable right now. :( I don't think they understand that our stomachs grow to the size of beach balls, not our legs.

by silvermoon2386

I have this horrible metallic taste in my mouth does anyone else experience this amazing symptom?? I hate it!

by ldozeman27

Well i have to hide my pregnancy for a while so big clothes are a way to go for me ...lol not cool on the stress but soon i can relax when i get my own place :)

by LEGZ1862

I feel disgusting. My skin is horrible and I feel really fat and sleepy. I don't have a belly yet, I am just getting wide.

by amurzynski

YAY!!!! it's not just me!!!! : )

by zeusluna

This is my third pregnancy and I am already too big for my clothes at 12 weeks. I can fit into my maternity clothes, but I don't feel like I look "pregnant" yet. I feel like I just look fat right now. I am bigger quicker this time but wish I would hurry up and get to the point of actually looking pregnant.

by nikih1982

I found a great pair of maternity jeans at Motherhood Maternity and wear the panel all scrunched down around my hips. Couple that with some layering stretchy tank tops that cover the butt. Done. Gravity problem solved.

by Netossa

I feel sooooooo nauseated its almost unbearable. I didn't feel like this with my 3 boys people says that's signs of a girl is this true?

by tolbert2007

I bought a belly band, and it helps so much I can still where my cute jeans with out feeling like im cutting off my circulation. Its the best it folds over your unbottened pants or shorts its my favorite pregnancy buy.

by rdw4life

11 weeks and bought my first pair of maternity jeans this past weekend. Thought I would hate the GIANT elastic band on the waist but OMG they are SO soft and comfy. Got the "secret fit belly" jeans at Motherhood Maternity and I'm saying goodbye to my regular jeans with the hair tie around the button and embracing maternity jeans just for the soft comfortable fabric on my belly. Bonus: they make a nice smooth surface across your belly (no buttons or zippers) so it's easier to see and rub your growing tummy! I'm pretty thin so it's impossible to hide my bump any longer! If you are at that in-between stage, I say go for it! It's so fun to maternity shop and clothes are SO much more comfy!

by AustinKPiglet

For being a already "big girl" its nerve recking going to maturnity areas...people look at me like your fat not preggo...lol...oh well

by rvandunk

have you tried any maternity clothes? bc i have been wearing xs maternity clothes since my normal clothes are not fitting

by tiffany10cheer

HI, I'm at 11 weeks and I'm still not ready to buy maternity clothes. This will be my first baby. My jeans fit a little snug, so it might be time to buy the pants with the kangooro pouch...hehe

by ariday1980

This is very exciting-How fast our babies are growing! I mean last week baby was the size of an olive, today the size of a lime!! Its such an amazing thing! As far as the clothes go, yeah, Im feeling pretty uncomfortable and fat. I've gained about 7 pounds, my clothes fit, but are not comfortable AT ALL. I bought some maternity shorts and they are so comfortable, but they are kinda dorky looking and Im having a hard time finding shirts that are long enough to cover the band on them, without wearing a way to large maternity shirt. This inbetween stage kinda sucks looks wise. I cant wait for a big baby bump!!

by caseylynnkirby24

I know it sounds silly, but something I found that really works are those Perfect Fit Buttons, the As Seen On TV ones, they REALLY work for the "in-between" stage and they're WAY cheaper than buying a pair of maternity pants! :D

by amandamoran2009

I'm 11 weeks and still no sign of a tummy. Still wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans. This is probably all due to the morning sickness and not being able to keep food down. But I did go up a bra size which is annoying.

by mskrismor

I'm 11 weeks. My solution to the in between stage-not looking pregnant but still being bigger than usual-has been dresses. Typically I never wear dresses but they are great right now. You can get ones that aren't for maternity so you can wear them after you have the baby. Just get the ones with an umpire waist (which are in style right now) and you can wear them for months into your pregnancy. I got a bunch of them on sale at JC Penny. I just pair the dress with some queen size panty hose (so they don't squeeze my belly) and I'm good to go.

by Nicolecaseymayer@yahoo.com

For those in-between times, I have found that the "be-band" from target works really well... It is much like a tube top, super stretchy and strong, but it goes around your hips and waist. You can use it to hold up your not buttoned prepregnancy jeans, or over too big maternity pants. Awesome invention!!!

by jaimegggg

I do feel extremely fat in my regular jeans and work slacks, not ready to spend a bunch on maternity clothes yet if you all say they aren't going to fit me right. Ive been living in my yoga pants while on vacation. But I need to do something fast before work starts back up next week! Any suggestions on good, comfy work slacks?

by kutekate5588

Yeah the "puffy" stage is no fun. Im looking into maternity bands so i dont have to button my pants witch is getting harder to do each day. Also with the bands you dont have get maternity pants.

by erindac

So you ladies know, Babies R Us sells this thing that you can wear your regular jean but open them and the thing connects to the botton and the other hole and you just wear your regular jeans under your belly. I'm 11 weeks, so I don't need it yet, but I worked there for 3 years and everyone who bought it swore onit!

by poeticfaith416

try the bella band. you can get it at target and motherhood maternity it helps you wear your jeans a little longer. also look into dressy leggings and yoga pants you can dress them up well. we are on baby number six, and i have learned a lot of little tricks to first trimester clothing problems! also women invest in a great sleep bra it will help with the breast tenderness! also help from sagging in the future!

by wonder4150

I have found that Yoga pants are very comfy, nice fitting and you can dress them up with a nice shirt and dress shoes.

by katiadel

I am 11 weeks today! I got really lucky and was able to find Old Navy pants that fit me. They are a little baggy, but they beat putting on my jeans that are definitely not fitting around me anymore.

by TravisB2B

Im giggling at all these comments! Mainly because i feel yer painA! :) Im 11 weeks today and seriously all you feel right now is FAT!! Things are tight and uncomfortable. Its still too hot here for the jeans and sweatshirts so old granny stretchy shorts it is!! LOL

by missshelby22

well im so unhappy now i want to the doctor and at 11 weeks to find out my baby dont have a heart beat so ladys how do get over your lost and this make the baby number 2 that me and my huband have lost

by bonebaby

My husband doesn't understand why I'm so uncomfortable in my clothes. I keep telling him I look fat and he responds with "You're Pregnant". He doesn't understand that strangers don't know I'm pregnant.

by schwarzy

I don't necessarily feel fat at 11 weeks, just extremely bloated, like I can't suck in my tummy. The constipation has been my biggest enemy and has made my first pregnancy quite miserable thus far.

by jwheelahan

I am soooo glad to read all of your commits. I am 11 weeks and in the same boat. I was thinking I shouldn't be having this problem yet. Nothing fits but maternity clothes don't either.

by ljlacy72305

I completely agree! I bought some gap maternity pants with the demi panel, and those are working great to start me out. My other pants were just entirely too tight. I've also bought some maternity shirts that will stretch with me as my belly grows, but that don't look like i'm swimming in them now. Gap rocks, IMO.

by kellyj180

I am glad I am not the only one !!! I am 11 weeks and in the same boat! I feel fat not preg but to early to wear maternity clothes!!!

by Lccsdc

I'm 11 weeks, and had to buy new bras a month ago (luckily they were selling two for 15 bucks, in basic colors, SCORE) and I was bummed that I had bought brand new jeans right before I got pregnant (since I was losing weight) and a few weeks later, they don't fit anymore. I'm in my fat jeans now, and yoga pants at home- my problem has been my shirts! (I say I'm showing...but my boyfriend doesn't believe me...) I've been picking up some shirts at Plato's Closet- they're cheap enough that I don't mind outgrowing them. =]

by Bobbij34n

I was complaining to my husband this morning about not fitting. Maternity clothes are fairly loose and have a little extra room, but my old clothes just don't fit!

by verovladamir

I have only gained about 5 lbs but feel like I gained 50...

by susanjennings25

It really is the weirdest thing. I haven't gain much weight 2lbs maybe, but I feel and look like I've gained 10lbs. And seemingly not in the right places. I just look pudgy. Looking forward to this stage being over!

by allisas

Get a bellaband, you can wear your pre pregnancy pants unbuttoned.

by edens_mama

I am 11 weeks and although the nausea is starting to get under control, I still have a love / hate relationship with food. When I'm hungry I feel nauseous, but I seem to hate almost anything I reach for to eat. I think its because I keep forgetting to just eat small portions - sometimes I'm just so excited I can finally eat that I overdo it. I haven't told anyone at work yet, but they've got to be on to me by now!

by mzjessielynn

The Motherhood maternity store is amazing! I'm only 11 weeks, just went to try on clothes out of curiosity and they already fit me. I'm not a big girl but not skinny either, but I am definitely more comfortable now in maternity clothes than regular. It's definitely worth it to start wearing them now, especially since you can get enough wear out of them so it can justify how much you spend on buying maternity clothes!

by mnhens

Hey, Guys, I'm actually launching my "baby blog" publicly on Monday, and today I'm doing a "fashion photo shoot" of things that I think have been working for me. Lots of Old Navy fold-over top skirts, etc. The "baby blog" is up now, but that stuff will be up Monday. It's http://babybeers.wordpress.com . Just saw you talking about clothes and hoped this would help. Hugs, Shaindel

by shaindelr

I'm 11 weeks and my pants still fit everywhere but the waist! I can't believe that I already have a belly. We heard the heartbeat a couple days ago. This is so exciting!

by beckyreznick

I feel the same way too! 11 weeks and 3rd pregnancy... a little trick that I have been doing since preg 1 is to loop a hair elastoc through my jeans hole and then fasten on the button, you can wear them for some time to come and buy a maternity camisoel with built in bra (motherhood are best), they are stretchy and fit cute, throw on a cute cardigan or hoodie and it will be hard to tell you are pregnant...

by jherch

I am 11wks today, but have already started wearing my maternity clothers. Yes they are baggy, but they feel better on my tummy. I figure sooner or later tthey will fit, I have a chance of showing way early because I'm pregnant with twins. Might as well break the pants in now! :-)

by TYEPLUS2

I'm not fitting into my clothes right now either! I have bought some maternity pants & they aren't fitting quite right yet either! So, I bought a be band by bella band at target & it has been a saving grace! It fits over your pre-pregnancy pants & holds them up & gives you that extra room you need! My clothes just got so much more comfortable!

by kyliec1

If you can believe this, I've been in maternity cloths for about 3 weeks now. They were big at first, but unfortunatly they now fit :( Not good considering I'm just over 11 weeks along...sigh....

by kristinegettel

I love my bella band! My jeans are too tight to button and it will hold them up without buttoning. I find it better than using an elastic hair tie, because then I don't have to worry about finding long shirts to wear. It looks like your wearing a cami underneath. Also I found that maternity pants are still too big, and the band will hold them up. Target has a cheaper version called the belly band if you're worried about price.

by meags730

My friends introduced the BELLY BAND to me and all I have to say is thank goodness!

by moralori

I'm 11 weeks with twins, 2nd pregnancy, and for sure showing. In some clothes I look more pregnant than others, but most of my regular shirts are too short and my regular pants while I can snap them they aren't comfortable. I'm doing a lot of maternity tanks in a smaller size for the length with open non-maternity cardigans/wraps. Perfect for fall weather anyway.

by jlkoontz

I'm 11 weeks today with my second pregnancy. While pregnant with my son, I never had morning sickness, with this pregnancy I have it like clock work every night at 7:30. I've had to buy maternity clothes already. We heard our baby's heart beat for the first time yesterday! It was indescribable!

by Missysue18

So I need to be drinking more water, and I just dont like drinking water at all... any help would be great!!

by Jennak10

I agree with each and every one of you all my jeans seem to be tight like I gained 30lobs over night and I've only gained between 5-7lbs. But I'm hoping that this belly of mine will start to round out more so these maternity pants will fit because they just feel like a roller coaster going up and down and up and down!!!!! =) Well best of luck to those in the weeks your in we're hoping for a boy, and all I can do now is sleep and I'm so tired but half the time am doing nothing but sitting down and doing homework. So the baby and my body must be at some hard work getting things together in there!

by cflowers06

I felt the same way! I am 11 weeks right now and I just bought this Belly Band from Target and it's a life saver!! IT's perfect because you wear it right over your pants that you fit into right now (besides the tummy area) :) They also have maternity leggings which are GREAT!

by jennaangell

I'm sOo ready for this nausea to go away... please hurry! X_x

by BlissfulMess

I am 11 weeks as well and still in my regular jeans/pants, but wearing loose fitting shirts out of insecurity. My biggest complaint, outside of nausea, is that my bras no longer fit! I don't know if I can handle these jugs getting any bigger. I hate it!

by courtneylea1217

This is my first pregnancy and I already have a firm baby bump! I had to have my Mom confirm that it wasn't just bloat anymore -hahaha. I'm so big already that even though I only saw one baby on our 9 week ultra sound, I'm not entirely convinced that there wasn't another one hiding.

by Aubrie.G

Almost 11 weeks and thinking about doing the Boy or Girl Gender test I am goona wait until my wedding anniversary Nov 29, I'll be 16 weeks. I know its not 100% but seems cool to do. Any input?

by momsilva

I feel like I am huge at 11 weeks! I only really fit into sweats or maternity clothes. At least maternity clothes show that it's a round belly. Definitely surprised to be showing given that I eat hardly anything and I am relatively athletic. Anyone else in the same boat?

by CedarFamily

HamNCheeze thank you for the laugh! Same sentiments here exactly!! Everything smells funny - especially the soap in the bathroom. Also, has anyone tried pajama jeans? I'm thinking of ordering some, but not sure if they work for maternity clothes.

by maureenjb

I'm almost 12 weeks now, but I've outgrown all of my work pants two weeks ago. On top of that I've been dealing with a 5 day migrane and can't take anything to get rid of it. Tylenol just does not do it!

by farrellsl

I think this in between flabby stage stinks! I finally just gave in and bought maternity clothes. I am 11wks and 1 day today! This is my first pregnancy and my husband and I are very excited! Is anyone doing the first trimester gender test?

by luvdragon14

lil one is the size of a lime .. so hard to believe!! So excited just dont know what to do with myself .. Four years ago I gave birth to my son and here we go all over again.. Woohooo!

by AmandaArleen

I'm Totally in the in between stage.... And i'm only 11 weeks!!!! but it is triplets!!!!

by katherynduritriplets

yes 11 weeks today as well and this is my first pregnancy.. my jeans are still fitting to an extend.. I have an elastic band hooked around the button to give me a little more room. Does anyone know where to find some cute long sweaters to wear with leggings? I can't seem to find any..

by dlstudio

Ladies that are having problems with Constipation and Nausea still, Listen close.....you need to ask for a prescription prenat called PRENEXA. it helps ease morning sickness for most, it is about the size of a hot tamale (the candy) and is the same consistancy so it slides right down...Also it has a built in stool softner that will keep you super regular. remember PRENEXA...fan freaking tastic!!!

Is anyone else experiencing really sore nipples? I'm almost 12 weeks now, but I feel like my nipples got really sensitive as soon as I hit 11 weeks.

by chicprincesspetite

Im 10 weeks 5 days today ive gained a lbs a week 11 lbs so far i started out way to thin 102lbs size 0 or 1 juniors i havent started wearing maternity clothes yet but i did break out my size 3 pants since im 113lbs now anyone else gain 11lbs in 11weeks!?

by mrtibbs727

I feel fat too im glad im not the only one :) i just wear sweat pants and leggings because my jeans dont fit anymore but im not really showing so maternity clothes arent approprate yet!

by sloaneireland

my pants don't stay up, i'm 11w5d. The fat that was on my waist that use to hold the pants has moved up I swear so I walk and they start to move south. I guess it's good I'll have to add buttons on the inside of the jeans and get that elastic stuff to make temporary maternity jeans, i don't want to invest in them.

by brittanygerth89

I'm in the in between stages right now as well - I bought the Bella Band and I'm LOVING it. The best $30 I spent. I can still wear all of my prepregnancy pants!

by Dani8680

I am so happy about my new baby, its exciting since we planned it - my first was a surprise but I really hate how i'm getting fat so fast. It can't be healthy, with my son I barely gained 5lbs till 5 months. Now I'm 11 weeks and have gained 13lbs. with that said i can't fit into any clothes except some maternity clothes from last time but i feel like they are outdated - not stylish enough. Makes me scared because this is a nine month long process - why am I getting so much fatter faster?

by luckycurl02

I still really have no belly, it shows a little bit when I'm full and bloated but other than that, my clothes still fit! I'm 11 weeks now. But I secretly can't wait until my clothes don't fit!!

by tayandsam

I have this bloated belly that looks like a baby belly already, and my FAT pants aren't comfy... :( My man keeps telling me I'm ravenous and that helps a lot!!!

by SNbaby11

Omg im so sick all the time i keep having to go back and forth to the emergency room and i keep having to call out of work i dont want to loose my job! i also have a feeling that alot of my sickness is coming from stress my babys daddy doesnt work and hasent been trying very hard and he continues to scream at me about going out everynight! needless to say im pregnate and miserable!

by Leea916xo

Thank goodness for long tank tops that layer! I haven't been able to do up the bottom button on any of my work pants since week 9.

by KatieS7

I'm 11 weeks today! The Belly Band is awesome and helping me fit in all my work clothes just perfect - as soon as i get home.. I run for my sweatpants!!! This is our first and I'm so excited!!!!

by maggiedm

I too am 11 weeks today and this is my third child. The only thing that is different is the morning sickness ALL DAY, EVERYDAY! I have tried everything from eating crackers to drinking ginger ale. They work for a little bit and then it starts all over again. Does anyone have any other suggestions that might help?

by LizzieB69

I don't have any sort of baby bump and I haven't gained a pound. I'll pretty tall (5'7") but decently thin (145lbs), could that be why?

by kjbarber86

I am at 11 weeks today, and definitely agree about this in between stage. None of my pants are comfortable, too snug around the waist, but don't want to wear the stretchy pants out of the house, feel like a bum. ;) So I just change as soon as I get home. I have also not had any morning sickness, but several horrible headaches, a few migraines, I'm hoping once I am thru the 1st trimester I will get some relief from this. I have yet to have my actual 1st doctor visit, gotta love the military. My appt is the middle of next week, and I have to do the 3 hour Glucose tolerance test, yuck!! I had gestational diabetes with my 1st baby, so hoping I won't with this pregnancy. Just venting, thanks for reading. =)

by sherryh06

The Belly Band works pretty well to keep you in your regular clothes longer and it's not as bumpy looking as the old rubber band trick to extend the waistline of your pants. This is my second child and I look like I'm 20 weeks instead of just 11!! Bloating is much worse this time around!

by missyal1174

11 weeks today!!!! woo Hoo but really hope this all day sickness crap goes away soon. I have lost 6 lbs within 2 weeks from throwing up constantly . i will crave something then as soon as I eat it I get nautious and it doesnt sound good anymore.. sooooo annoying. and I am already in maternity pants and I love them. but i do still feel pudgy and dont look so pregnant yet. but the good news is I went to the doctor on friday and heard the babys heartbeat. Good and Storng. Best feeling in the world !!!!!

if you're outgrowing your regular clothes but aren't ready for the maternity clothes just yet, try getting one of those belly bands. you wear your old pants unbuttoned then the band over them to hold them up. make sure to wear a long enough shirt to cover, but it works. you could also try a rubber band to do the same thing. just loop it around the button, through the buttonhole, then back around the button.

I am at the 11 week mark, and I feel GREAT! I have ocassional gas and feel a little bloated, but I am still fitting in my regular clothes and have not gained any weight thus far! Hope the remainder of my pregnancy goes this well!

by jah0407ar

I have not had morning sickness at all im 11 weeks today and this morning I was eating breakfast and I got sick, I normally just have nausea but not this morning it was full on morning sickness, I dont understand that!

by jessicalaynemoore

Im 11 weeks and 4days pregnant and so far I've been losing weight. My morning sickness was awful when i was 8-10 weeks pregnant. Now it's not so bad and only in the early mornings occasionally. My food nutritionist at my ob's clinic recommended preggie pops and it has helped me a lot this past week. They helped to give me an appetite when i felt nauseas. As for my clothes, my jeans still fit me but i cant button them so i have to put a rubber band.

by vcarrion0222

I have to agree with the whole in-between stage!!! What is a pregnant girl to do? I have a few pairs of maternity pants, but they fall of me!!! I have to dress semi-professionally for work, so this is just frustrating. I really don't want to buy clothes that are a size or two bigger because they never fit right. I do get a lot of headaches I've noticed. Oh, by the way this is my second baby. My son is now 6 so I almost feel like I'm starting over again.....

by sophiagosselin

I'm so glad to hear that y'all aren't fitting into your regular clothes either! I feel the exact same way! Hopefully within the next couple of weeks we'll fit into maternity clothes! I did find a good pair of Gap maternity jeans that I can wear now. Congrats to you all!

by rachelcraig08

I agree, I can't fit my jeans anymore, so I went ahead and bought a couple pair of maternity jeans, so since in buying a bigger size in regular jeans. Burlington coat factory has inexpensive jeans for under 20 bucks! and they are cute!

by CocoQueen

I'm 11 weeks. Keep seeing so many LOSING weight. Please tell me I'm not the only one GAINING. (like 15 lbs :( )

by redshadow1

My pants are still fitting, but after eating I have to do the old Thanksgiving release and unbutton them for fear of exploding.

by prestojenn

This is the stage where people look at you and wonder "is she fat or pregnate?" I hate the in-between stage of clothes!

by msmandia1

I have to say, I'm 11 weeks today and I havnt fit I'm my jeans comfortably in about two weeks, I switched to maternity gear last week and its been a breath of fresh air. I used the BeBand for work pants but for jeans, no thank you, they just kept falling down. I can't wait to be out of the redzone and have a full on preggo belly!

by EvelynMarie3949

I'm 11 weeks today. I've been feeling not well for the past 11 weeks w/ nausea, backpain, fratige, & sleepiness. I had 4 days of m/s free during my 9 weeks but it came back since. Terrible, terrible! I still fit in my regular size jeans but my belly starts to shows a bit due to bloating. I'm not gaining weight yet. My routine 3 times a week running on treadmill has been reduced to 1 time/week because I feel so tired and nauseated all the time. My belly is getting a little fatter due to lack of exercise, I guess.

by hanghang

I am just now getting morning sickness, I thought it was supposed to be about over by now, thought I was in the clear, is it normal to just now be getting sick?

by Jmetzner

For those of you who feel that maternity pants are too soon, but your regular pants are way to tight, check out old navy's real waist and low rise maternity pants. I just got a pair of jeans and a pair of cords. I LOVE them!

by linzspielman

I am already in maternity clothes and have been for about a month now. Of course I'm also pregnant with twins. I haven't gained much weight, only 2 lbs. However everything has shifted to my belly and I look 5 months along. I think this is going to be a long pregnancy...

by Elizabeth070503

Ugh! So glad to hear that I am not alone! Trying to get ready for church this morning was a drag! I feel like everything makes me look like I have a beer gut. And since most people don't know I'm pregnant yet, I really don't want to look pregnant. I don't feel ready for maternity pants yet but I only have one pair of jeans that still fit and I can only wear those so many times in a row!

by kfitzsimmons88

Thank GOD I'm versatile. I never really liked tight clothing so believe it or not, I probably wont have to buy much during my pregnancy. It was the same way with my first child. I gained 45lbs but lost 60 just to make sure that I fit in everything again. I'm not a small person but I love comfortable clothing. So with the help of a few rubber bands and a belly-band, I may only have to but a few pants in my 3rd tri.

by hemesgirl

Im due June 16th, and my doctors office said Im 11 weeks now, wouldnt I only be 10 weeks? Am I calculating incorrectly? Oh and Melaniew4, Im sooo in the inbetween stages and feel unattractive in my clothes, I need larger sizes but then feel like I just look fat, and maternity looks like Im faking a pregnancy LOL!!! Cant wait for the bump to show.

by nikbal79

for melaniew4: I've found that the bellybelt helps a lot with that :) My jeans are extremely tight unless I use my little bellybelt which allows me to leave my jeans open but only to a comfortable place. Might be worth checking out.

by RebeccaIsaak

Leggings have been a life saver for me. I am 11 weeks today and out of all my old jeans. Thank goodness leggings are in style!

by kmitch1781

I'm 11 weeks along this week, and the only difference I have noticed this pregnancy (my first) is just occasional nausea. I'm looking forward to my clothes getting snug, but it isn't happening!

by MJohnson2011

I'm exactly 11 weeks today and have been so lucky not to have any morning sickness..yet! I pray it skips me totally. Strong smells do make me gag and I get nauseated some. There have been a few times where I couldn't eat but a few bites of dinner or none at all. I lost 8 lbs. b/w 2nd and 3rd appts which they said was normal. I can't wait to start seeing a belly bump though. Clothes still fit but r getting tighter. I need to be drinkin more water but like some of u have said, I think the vitamins have a lot to do with the yellowish color of my urine. I like the sound of hte Belly Band too..might have to get one of those pretty soon.

by bridenluv

I lost about 20 pounds right before I got pregnant!! So I'm feeling pretty lucky that most of my old clothes still fit!!! I'm plus sized so I'm a little worried about finding maternity clothes that will fit well.

by Zoey378

Get the Bella band...or even Target has a version of it. They're amazing, and you'll be able to wear your own pants still!

by dana4a

This is my first pregnancy and after trying for a year and a half, we couldn't be more excited!!! We will be having twins, and our due date is father's day!!! I haven't been sick at all and i am grateful for that! I work in Labor and Delivery and found my babies' heartbeats the other day and now I want to do it everyday...I still have a hard time believing I'm actually pregnant, since I only feel exhausted and nothing else! I can't wait until I start showing and I can feel the babies!!!!

by copferrn

I LOVE being pregnant. We are so excited, just want to big round belly now!!!!!!!:->

by laberg

After reading these posts I feel like such an oddball. My regular pants were getting pretty tight so I broke down and bought a pair of slacks a size bigger than usual, but they felt huge and frumpy. So I decided to wear the maternity pants my aunt gave me. I absolutely LOVE them. They fit much better in the legs and tushy than my "fat" pants and still have the stretchy band to make me feel more comfortable. So try getting maternity pants with a small elastic waistband. Very comfy.

IMy relationship with food has changed dramatically with this pregnancy...nothing tastes right and a smell can mess up my mood...my husband has been such a trooper any craving I have he goes out and gets it for me the sad part is I take two bites and I'm done! I thought ya know I may be able to keep wearing my normal clothes at this rate...not! Belly Band here I come!lol

by tynsonya

iam 11 weeks today and not showing yyyy?? but i also have gestational diabetes so ive been on a diet and im not even fat!!

by 84kitty

I'm only 11 weeks pregnant and I'm starting to show a little belly! This is my second child so I know it's normal, but wow so soon? Wow I wonder what I'll look like at 5 months!

by becca246

I can't believe my lil baby has is starting to get hair and lil teeth:) I can't wait to meet him or her, that's all i think about!!!!! 6 more months to go, yay:)

I am only 11 weeks and one day and i feel the same as the other pants aren't fitting just right anymore so lately I have been rocking the good old sweat pants and sweat shirts its the most comfortable thing i could find so far.

I'm 11 weeks today and my pants are staring to dig into my belly a bit. I just had a co-worker offer me pants a size bigger than mine that she doesn't wear anymore until I'm ready for maternity clothes! I'm also going to try a belly band this week. It's hard to love your body during the in-between stage when you just feel kinda fat but seeing my little baby wiggling around on the ultrasound this week really changed my perspective.

by LaceyNHarrington

i am 11 weeks and already have gained 13 lbs and then lost 6 then now have regained them.mine isnt all in the belly i am gaining all over my hips are wide and i feel fat! i love my bluejeans and they are snug if buttoned so i take a hair tie and put around my button and threw the whole and back around to keep the lose but not showing anything its great i can still wear my jeans this is my second pregnancy and i dun the same thing with my first .

by becameamommyin07

i would like to know that if usg report is showing babys blader is persistently distended than what is it?

by nishagr7

I am 11 weeks today! This is our first baby and we are so excited. I haven't been sick at all and only a couple boughts of nausea, but I have had no appetite. I try to eat cause I know I need to, but a few bites in and I feel like I just ate Thanksgiving dinner. I have lost 6lbs so far and I am not showing at all. We went to our first Dr's apt earlier this week and they couldn't find the heartbeat. They said it was still early to be able to detect it so I could wait a couple of weeks or have an US done. I couldn't wait. As soon as the US tech put the machine up to my stomach we could see the baby! Heart rate was 162 which is perfect. I was shocked at how much the baby was moving! It kicked and punched like crazy. I don't know if it will be so cute when I can feel it doing that, but nothing could describe the relief I felt when we got to see it! Hope you all get to experience such great joy at that moment.

by shanegillespie04

I am in between as well! I wish I could hang out in sweats all day! I recently lost a fair bit of weight so I have a wardrobe that spans sizes 14 (now) to 24. The bigger clothes don't fit right, but they are more comfortable than squeezing into the smaller ones. My symptoms are starting to let up this week, but I don't look pregnant yet, just that I may have put back on some of those pounds I lost... but I have only gained 1-2 pounds this trimester...

by Cola72

Uggghhh.. So i have been pretty small, I walked out of the hospital in my everyday clothes with my first born-Son who is 18 mths, But it sucks because my breasts are the first thing to become bigger-I'm already a DD to start with. This sucks. Second pregnancy they shouldnt grow anymore. And i'm showing a little, not many ppl notice, but i don't fit in anything but long sweaters and leggings, or sweat pants. I'm too small for maternity clothes, but i definitly don't fit in my everyday wear... sigh.. But i do love seeing that the little one is growing along with me!

by kriss1985

My clothes are just starting to feel snug and at least with winter approaching I can hide the pudge behind sweaters until I get to the firmer belly stage.

by enferg

I am 11 weeks and can't fit to many of my own clothes either but my loving husband lets me shop in his closet....lol. It's definately a fast way to get shirts to help hide those unbuttoned and unzipped pants.

by Aqueelah111979

So, 11weeks along and yes, I feel fat. Yes, I feel totally bloated. Yes, some things make me gag when I smell them. But the MOST annoying thing right now is being hungry all the time and not being able to eat! My stomach has already moved up into my lungs (I was blessed with a short torso), and I am so tired of snacking all the time! All I really want is a steak and some mashed potatoes!!!

by SarahAJordan

I feel nauseated ALL the time, no throw-up yet... I'm 11 weeks today... but basically I just keep snacking every couple hours, that seems to do the trick.. Also, taking a 15-20 min nap on my lunch also has been helping... I'm looking forward to the 2nd trimester, no more "morning sickness"... Also, I'm naturally a bigger person, not obese, but a bit over-weight and I am still wearing the same clothes... I guess I will be for the next couple months... This is my first baby, so this is ALL new to me :-)

by tylesha2011

11 weeks along and I bought 4 belly bands on ebay for $25 (that includes shipping). SO much cheaper than buying them anywhere else and paying $15 per band. The bands are great to keep your old pants up and hide the fact that they are unbuttoned and unzipped. Wish I had these with last pregnancy. As for any tall mommies out there, I am 5'9" and almost all reg. preg pants are short. I can't afford to buy tall preg pants, so I took my old preg pant to seamstress and she added 3 inches of denium to my 2 pairs of jeans and they look great and only cost me $12 to get it done. Doing it with all of the short pants now.

by tallmommat

I totally agree! Im an aerobic instructor and everytime I go to teach a class I find another cute shirt that I adore that I have to put in the "after baby" drawer!!!!

by elizabethe67

haha totally there with the clothes. all I see is Belly and Boobs. Clothes that fit during the day make me want to scream by night time. I go between IM SO FAT to IM STARVING!!!!!! so annoying! I laugh though, because eating and crying are really our only stress relief!

by elizabethe67

I am currently 11 weeks and 1 day! jean are tight like most of you soon to be mothers! also i have been getting the rumbly belly. I will start walking and prenatal pilates today and lifting some light weights(. 2lbs) to stay in shape! this fat stage is def. not fun at all

by bellahoney07xoxo

All my pants are too tight, definitley with everyone on not enjoying the "not quite baby bump" stage! DH ordered me a belly belt extension kit, cannot wait for it to get here! Tired of unbuttoning my pants when I drive;)

by kalijusten2010

I am 11 weeks and four days and feeling pretty uncomfortable in my clothes. Both my tops and my bottoms are snug. The morning starts out just fine with things fitting great but as soon as I eat something, I seem to just expand! And I stay that way all day! Is anyone else having this happen? By the end of the evening, I feel and look about 6 months pregnant. I guess we just get used to this, right?

by k2veritas

First pregnancy, heard the heart beat last week and told my parents telling my boyfriends parents on Christmas. Very very nervous, don't have a lot of symptoms have the 12 week screening next week

by R6625

I agree My old clothes are to small but maternity clothes arnt working either, I went to see my husband family recently and they told me i was puggy not a good feeling!!!!

by mdietrich

My little lime!!! this week has been much better then the rest of the weeks. I'm soo glad that im feeling much better. My coat was getting really tight arough the stomach lol you kno how you button a shirt and inbetween the buttons there are wholes cuz of the tightness? well that's what was going on with my coat so I got a beautiful maternity pea coat perfect for the rest of winter! cant wait to whip out my summer dresses and be comfy all summer long!! i will be 12 weeks tomorrow and i cant wait... bye bye 1st trimester hello feeling good and getting bigger! < />

by bellahoney07xoxo

I definitely have some of the same puffy belly feeling, Jeggings and leggings are my best friends lately. I have just been going up a size in my regular jeans and that makes up for the extra around the middle. I'm trying to avoid buying maternity clothes that I will never be able to wear again.

by CocoBrynne

I agree with all of the comments on being "in between" regular and maternity clothes--I went shopping last week and bought a tummy band, which they didn't have last time I was pregnant and the first time I didn't need maternity clothes--LOVE the band!!!! I had rubberbanded my pants for a couple weeks, but the band is much more comfortable.

by mcsoccermom99

This in between stage is making me crazy too. I bought a BeBand from Target and LOVE IT! I'm still comfortable in my pre-pregnancy clothes.

by ldz102psu

I am 11 weeks today, everythng has been fine and all of a sudden this awful headache for 2 days with nausea...what can i do ??

by Nic1101

you guys should get the belly sleeve from Motherhood it helps you still wear some of your pants/jeans and still feel comfortable its about $16.00.

by bell1986

Jeggings (Jean leggings)! They are a lifesaver, look like jeans but fit comfy like leggings and they're cheap at NY&Co.

by ashland

Tummy tubes! I'm in between pre-pregnancy clothes and maternity clothes as well. So, I bought the tube of fabric you can put over your belly or over your unbuttoned pants to hold them up. It makes both pre-pregnancy clothes and maternity clothes stay put.

by jessiemcc

I am 11 weeks pregnant and not showing! normal for anyone else?

by NM303

ii'm 11 weeks and 3 days. we got an ultrasound done yesterday! it was AMAZING!!!! i'm still fitting into my clothes. all of them. i have a little belly not much though. i'm not ready to shop for maternity clothes... because i know i'm not "big" enough for them yet. this is my first pregnancy and i'm ready for my bump!! :)

by mcilrathjj

I'm 11 weeks today 1/6/11 and I'm already in maternity clothes. Mine fit wonderful, i just fold down the over belly part. I haven't gained any weight but defenitaly uncomfortable in my regular clothes. Maybe you didn't buy the right size maternity clothes... Just a thought.

by ashley_marie_1985@yahoo.com

This week I went to go out to dinner with my husband and couldn't find one pair of jeans to wear. I threw them all on the ground and kicked them. (Way to go hormones:) I have nothing to wear! I'm super excited about everything but HATE this fat inbetween stage. My girl friend is taking me shopping this weekend so I can feel better about my self. All I want is ONE pair of jeans that fit, just one.... :(

by cbesecker

This is my 5th pregnancy and i can really tell that i'm growing faster than my other pregnancies, I feel frustaded when i have to think about what i'm going to wear today. But anyway all what i can do is enjoy and be happy for this big blessing that God sent me.

by luciusa

This is my first pregnancy and I am 11 weeks. After reading some of your postings about not fitting into your clothes I am kind of worried. I haven't notice any changes in my body yet. Anyone else out there who is like me? Should I be worried?

by mguinzy

I am 11wks1d. I went to Thyme Maternity and a lot of their pants and tops are meant to stretch so you can wear them throughout your pregnancy. They also have a sample belly that you can velcro on to see how the pants stretch and how you will look. I feel so much better. The pants are so comfortable that I think I might just buy matrnity pants from now on :) Lots of sales on now too!

by dinabe

I am 11 weeks today and I'm right there with all of you and not fitting into clothes. The best thing I've found is a belly band at target!! It covers up the top of your pants if you can't button them...and if it hangs out the bottom of your shirt it just looks like a tank top. Also, you can take an elastic pony-tail holder, loop it through the button hole in your pants and loop it around the button!!!! It makes such a huge difference!!!!!

I feel fat before 4 pm. At morning I have a flat stomach, but then in the afternoon I become a fat girl. Very strange!!

by pabasortega

using the ruberband on jeans is helpful - as long as your shirt is long enough : )

by tallen3

I'm 11 wks today and dreading going to work. I work in a deli and it absolutely bothers me now that I'm pregnant. The worst thing is the fryer! The smell of that oil just jump starts my nausea. I'm def thinking about changing depts.

by veebaybee1

I'm already showing, but not nearly enough to be able to fit into my maternity clothes without them falling off... I feel so huge in my regular clothes and hate to wear them because I'm afraid to hurt the baby. Can't wait to find out what it is I want a little boy so bad!!!!!

by Hami03

Elastic hairties around the waist button closures to expand pant size and longer shirts keep me comfy, im 11 weeks and I don't need to shop for new clothes yet =D

by loserdork180

Has anyone had nosebleeds while in their first trimester? I'm 11 weeks 1 day today, and this is the second time I have had a nosebleed. I got to hear the heartbeat last week via ultrasound and the hb was 174. I'm looking forward to the second trimester!

by nlv4vr

I'm 11 weeks today! I do have my baby bulge :) My jeans fit quite tight and uncomfortable, so what I did was, I went to Old Navy, bought their line of "Yoga" pants($12). They're stretchy spandex-ish, and they have this fold/flap that instead of folding it down, I fold it up over my tummy :) looks just like maternity pants, except, I still feel great :)

by Yami712

I am at the stage where I am feeling too fat also. I can't get into any of my clothes unless it has rubber in the waist. This is my fourth pregnancy and I had a huge break in between my last one and the one i am expecting now 5 whole years.I am 11 weeks and 2 days today. I am just having a problem in finding food that actually stays down besides ribeye steak.

by Shamirah26

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years and are absolutely thrilled to be expecting but whoa, morning sickness is kicking my butt!!! Still excited but even more excited for the second trimester. I just pray I am not one of those that are sick the whole 9 months. Just one step at a time...

by Lizzydi

Im 11 .weeks pregnant with twins.Im 39 yrs old. This is my 4 pregnancy and i'm scared as hell. This pregnancy is like never before. Im excited also.Im going through alot of mood swings. Im extremely attached to the father. I can't stop trowing up.

by bobuny

I completely agree! NOT fitting into anything! Ready for something to change!

by ls7338

I am already too big for my regular pants! I have to loop a hair tie to button them. I am ready for a baby belly... not this fat belly!

by babyrae51805

I'm right there with you all....I'm 11 weeks today and maternity jeans are way too big and I keep having to pull them up. My regular jeans are super tight around the midsection making it uncomfortable. Leggings have been a wonderful option except it will start getting too hot for those soon lol. Wearing leggins instead of jeans has also made me look more pregnant than just plump lol.

by babyconnor

This is my first child and I'm between 11 and 12 weeks (depends on which due date calculator I use honestly lol). But I'm due August 14th and I'm so excited!! So far I've only gained about 3lbs and all my clothes still fit perfectly. But I am suffering from morning-afternoon-riding in the car, and brushing my teeth sicknesses lol. And lots and lots of burping and indigestion....NO FUN!! But I'm enjoying being pregnant so far and can't believe there's a little human growing in there...

by beautyspeaks69

I am right there with ya ladies!!! Has anyone tried the Pajama Jeans, very interested in how they fit/ look! Good luck with your prego stages.

by cannonchristi

I'm right there with you beautyspeaks, I am also in between 11 and 12 weeks and am also due August 14th! I only have to throw up at night and most of the time it's also induced by brushing my teeth which my doc said is very common lol. I can't wait for the throwing up to go away! I don't really feel nauseous anymore just throwing up for no reason! At least I feel better afterwards. I just now wake up super stuffed up and gag up mucus, it's really gross. Anyone else with this morning symtom?? Feels like I have a sinus infection then it gets better throughout the day.

by Pradakiss22

I'm getting a little to big for my regular jeans. But yet to small for maternity clothes. A good option is to use a hair rubber band and wrap it around your jean button and through the button loop. Really works for me and it feels so much better. I'm also just buying regular shirts that are a little bigger are the stomach area. They are in fashion now and you can still wear them after baby.

by kash05Wed222135

Ha! I agree with many of the comments. Gotta love the "inbetween" stage, feeling of being fat, not fitting into clothes, but yet too early to feel like I need the maternity clothes yet! So funny.

by simela8

i am 10 wks and i have gone up 4 cup sizes so far every couple of weeks i have to get a new bra dose anyone know any good places to maybe get a good sports bra or something because i feel like a 36 g is going to be impossible to find

by courtneybarnett

11 weeks and I have already gained over 20 pounds.Anybody else do that.Imhoping I dont gain too much more and trying to eat healthy doesnt seem to be helping.

by fishsha

Is it really horrible that I have not taken my prenatal s in a week. I just have been so nauseous that I can't take them. I am 11 weeks today.

by gee339

This is the stage were maternity clothes sag and make you look like you are wearing your older sisters clothes. i cant fit into 95% of my prepreg pants. Its so annoying!!!

by Rohdemakes5

Luckily prior to pregnancy I dropped a ton of weight so I have plenty of fat jeans to move into. The problem is at 11 weeks I just feel fat and no one can tell I'm pregnant. It leaves me feeling a bit self conscious. I feel like the inbetween stage will last forever.

by daltonneil

My belly if gettin bigger but i DONT "feel pregnant". i have not experienced any sickness vomiting or nausea! and i can wear most of my clothes still.

by souzamommy5

I don't feel like i have changed at all except that my clothes don't fit. I feel the same way I did 11 weeks ago but now I'm eating more now.

by babygirl5051988

I've been enjoying yoga pants and leggings for comfort! I'm 6'0 and already have a hard time finding jeans that fit the way I like or are long enough, so I know maternity clothes/jeans will be even worse!

by MortimoreA

Guess I'm lucky that I can still squeeze into my jeans!!

by k-la6055

I am feeling fat as well. I lost 5 lbs my first month and haven't gained it all back yet. What I did gain though went straight to my stomach. So my regular jeans are uncomfortable to wear.I bought the B-band from Target which will help me wear my pre-pregnancy jeans. I also started wearing maternity jeans and they're great. Super comfy, they feel like I'm wearing yoga pants because of the waist band.

by sajaug28

I suppose that is the only real plus side of being a little overweight going into pregnancy...I can wear the maternity pants now because my belly is actually bigger than it should be! Not something to brag about, really, but it does make it a little easier to get dressed :) For the record, I was trying to lose weight before we learned I was expecting...I guess the Lord had different plans :)

by AmynJamie

You guys are lucky. I thought it was normal to feel fat, but my thighs wont even fit into my old jeans. I'm into to pj pants everyday now. I feel like a bum. Also... I hate how hubby's sex drive has suddenly decreased. HELLO, whats with that?!?!

by Nwolin

this is my third pregnancy and im actually feeling like im loosing weight. i havent been able to hold food down i been throwing everything up to a point were i had to go to er and turns out i was dehydrated i never went threw this with my other 2 i cant wait until im able to eat again

by mayra1095

I'm also in that awkward in between stage, where my pants are not very comfortable anymore, and I'm definitely not ready for maternity pants. I did get some maternity t-shirts, and I wear skirts with an elastic waist band. The maternity t-shirts I bought are not baggy, they are just extra long, so I don't walk around with my belly hanging out.

by malinda82

I only have 1 pair of jeans that still fit me and my shirts are getting tight. My bras are getting to be too small. This in- between stage sucks! The only thing that has been keeping me going between my all day sickness and my clothes not fitting is the fact that by september I will have the greatest thing anyone could ever have!

by hershj23

This past Saturday, I experienced that worse gas pain. I felt like I was having a miscarriage, I was so scared. It felt like a shooting stinging feeling. The pain radiated in my lower back, then got stuck in the bottom of my butt. This horror lasted for hours and aftering reading up on this it is common throughout pregnancy. I just dont get it my first pregnancy 13 yrs. ago was beautiful, but this one seems to be a challenge.

by sbanks2

Before spending a lot of money on maternity pants, just buy a BellBand by ingrid & isabel. You can still wear your favorite jeans that aren't zipping up now. You just wear the band folded over and it holds them up. It also holds up too-loose maternity pants.

by ericasieb

I also agree with the not fealing chubby but not even remotely ready for maternity clothes. I wear leggings and long shirts a lot. they are really comfy and it gives me time away from my extreamly tight jeans.

by valerieflan2011

i too use a rubber band looped through my open button hole and loop it onto the button of my jeans- not the best solution but it can give you an extra inch or so of room until you have to go break down and buy those prego pants... i have a problem finding them in thr right length since i have a 36 inch inseam- so i am hoping to wait off long enough to be able to just wear the shorts- keeping fingers crossed... hmm maybe a dress?

by parksgems

so far my clothes are sweats, this is my 3rd pregnancy and im in between my clothes as well. so i just buy a size bigger in sweatpants, tie up, and out the door i go:D

by rjbrasher79

This is my second successful pregnancy (had 3 miscarriages, so 5th pregnancy) and i feel sooo BIG! i feel like this belly has developed overnight. it was cute at first, but now I'm starting to freak out that I will just gain weight like this the entire pregnancy. Anyone else on a 2nd or 3rd pregnancy that is growing super fast? Its kind of worrying me.

by shiningstarr2007

I'll be 11 weeks on Tuesday and can't wait til my 1st trimester is over. this pregnancy is so different from my 1st one. Nauseated, feeling big etc. And some maternity pants fit already.

by msjudge8

Well, the only differences I can see and feel is that I'm getting a bit bigger, I'm always hungry and I pass gas more. No morning sickness at all. I've been told I'm lucky.

by tickles975

I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and I am finally starting to tell people. This week I'll have my early risk assessment and hopefully get to see and hear the heartbeat again. I agree with everyone - I feel fat, but it's still too soon for maternity clothes for me. Looks like baggy shirts will take over my wardrobe until my belly actually looks pregnant!

by Busabus10

11 weeks!! yes i am.. and i totally agree with u ladies.. i feel like my tummy is just all fat.. grrr... i feel so fat right now..

by jeka26

My only real symptoms so far are swollen breast and uncontrolable gas. Yikes!

by jrodriguez1447

I dont plan on getting any maternity clothes (except for a pair of jeans). My plan is to wear strech leggins and t-shirts with flowy sweaters over them. In spring and summer, baby doll dresses, peasant tops and "cute" looks. Def do not WANT to become the boreing, fat mom. I plan on being a "sexy-preggy" and MILF when baby arrives, lol

by amielovessteve

I also agree with the in between stage. I feel so awkward...like I had one too many Oreos or something! =) This is my first pregnancy and I can't wait till I have an obvious baby bump!

by BeccaLeah23

well I am pregant again cant wait to see what the baby is, but more nervous with this one I think it is cause this one was actually planned lol

by 3bys1grl

I'm 11 weeks today and noticed the button on my jeans just doesn't quite make it together anymore. I work for a law firm and have to dress up. NOT looking forward to spending a bunch of money on career-wear I'll only use for another 7 months :/ Also, the m/s is STILL pretty intense, going on 5 weeks of it now, YUCK!

by nonnahs38

I know! Im eleven weeks and two days and I feel like a whale! I wish target had more selection as far as pants go I cant squeeze into anything!

Went to the doctor today....Was hoping for so much more to happen but it did'nt ...all they did was confirm my pregnancy, now i have to wait for my OBGYN appt. I really hope it comes fast & i don't have to wait long...Cause I worry about the baby & if it's okay...it's on my mind all the time....am i the only one thats this way? :(

by SammyThomas0216

I get so nauseas any time I start to feel hungry or tired. I'm eating something small (granola bar, pb&j, apple & crackers, pretzels, etc.) every 2 hours @ this point, and if I don't I WILL throw up. Is that normal? Anyone know of any problems that could cause this? Low blood sugar or something? It's so miserable! I am always feeling sick :/ I know nausea is normal but it's almost happening more often than I'm not nauseas. thanks!

by rmazza213

Best thing ever for this stage...LEGGINGS!! or Jeggings - they stretch and you can wear a cute tunic or jacket with them ;) Also, plain ts and cute scarfs (Old Navy has some great ones) help to hide the little bulge ;)

by maggie2203

Here is a little tip that I learned as this is my third pregnancy. Take the belly area and fold it down. If they are too baggy right now then you could also be buying the wrong size. I am 11 weeks and I wear the undershirt from motherhood maternity and then the maternity pants.....I roll the "flap" down and as the weight gain comes slowly roll it up. This will help a lot. Most women buy a size too big because they believe they will gain a lot. At motherhood maternity they help you with sizing and how the clothes should fit even this early on. I hope this helps everyone!

by momoftwins821

Well..im still fitting into my same clothes...yet it feels uncomfortable after I wear the pants 4 a few hrs

by jedwards629

I feel like I need to wear a sign that says "Yes I am pregnant, not just fat"! I dont like this stage at all of pregnancy! But I know it will pass and I will love pregnancy again!

by Mjraines0108

Ugh! I am 11 weeks today and I cannot fit into my clothes anymore. I have already gained like 10lbs which my doc says is normal cause I was tiny to begin with...I cant fit into my work pants anymore, I bought the belly band but even that is getting uncomfortable. What to do...ugh, on a happy note, My hubby loves the fact that I went from an A cup to a C cup...lol No stores around me have maternity :(

by carriesteltz

The in between stage is crazy, I feel huge but am not showing yet, my pants feel like they are about to explode yet I think it's too early for a trip to the Motherhod store.

by dorcia11211

I've been working out nearly every day to keep from getting puffy from just being sedentary & it's really helped staying in my clothes! I have a ton of energy- More than my husband, and the added leg-kicks sessions have subsided the battle of the buldge for now! I'm 11 weeks 4 days right now.

by bacbre

so glad im not the only person showing at 11 weeks! was worried i was eating to much :)

by brianna09fisher

My fat jeans fit me in certain places but not in others (they are too big) I went to walmart and bought some yoga danskin pants for 11 bucks and they have been wonderful cause I can dress em up or down !

by ProudMomma218

This may sound really bad. But i'm not feeling any of this.

by abarrios94

i guess i'm the lucky one, i don't feel fat, since i'm always sick, that i have lost weight. And it doesn't seem like i get any better any time soon. Being all day seek from "morning sickness" is not fun either, at least on the other hand. I don't need to wear my maternal clothes yet.

by snaiky

I was terribly sick for 5 weeks straight. Morning, noon and night. It was horrible. Now in my 11th week, I'm starting to feel better and food actually is starting to taste good again. I feel like a fatty fat cow, but whatever. I'm embracing it. I did go ahead and purchase my first set up maternity pants and a few tops. THANK GOD, but yeah, they're baggy and they slip but it beats my fat jeans any day. Good luck ladies. I wish you all the very best. xo

by vgarnant

If only the belly band worked better for me! I have large hips, and the dang thing just rolls up all the time! Since it's almost summer, I'm on the hunt for cute dresses, and I've ordered my first round of maturnity clothes. I think it's ok timing, I stopped being able to button my pants at 8 wks! Arg! But it's all worth it :)

by gingerlilyoc

i cant wait for my belly to show this is my first baby and i pray about it so much so im happy about my clothes don't fit because i used to be thin and always concerning about my body now i know is not because im eating bad or stuff its because my baby in inside and growing im fascinated ! just love it

by DamaJass

I got a Be-band and wear that over the maternity pants. It works really well and I am so much more comfortable now!

by ewirtz926

I'm 11 weeks pregnant with TWINS!! i'm totally not ready to be in maternity jeans already...but my regular jeans squeeze everything right out of me. I don't get to listen to their heartbeats because they can't just pick up 1 heartbeat, but I get an ultrasound every 2 weeks to see them grow!!

by huntingwife9509

Starting to feel MUCH better. I was able to see baby and hear the heartbeat! It was amazing! Baby even had a hiccup on the monitor. I had a miscarriage for my last pregnancy, so it was extremely reassuring to see baby right on track! :D

by stacbutler

I am 11wks and for the past four weeks I have been so tired and so sick to my stomach. Its driving me crazy. I just want to get back to feeling like my normal self. This is my second child and I was no where near this sick the first time.

by motherof22011

I am 11 weeks today! I also am not fitting into my clothes but I have to say the maternity jeans look so cute now! I had my 2nd sonogram last Friday and the babys heartbeat and delvelopment is good! So ready to find out what the gender of the baby is!

by jonie01

well im injoying it a little jus not the head ach

by Tria18

try the tummy sleeve from motherhood to get in to maternity pants earlier

by siemmons

This is my second, so my regular clothes are already not working. I've just gotten smaller maternity things to wear right now, then I'll go up to my size as I get bigger. It works, and I'm soooooo comfy - which is all I care about right now! :-)

by mommybitbit

I agree too... clothing is not fun right now! People don't know if I am pregnant or have a beer belly !LOL! Normal clothes don't fit pregnancy clothes too big. I am finding a belly band has really worked well for me so far!

by JenMarie83

Well, I am 40, last baby was 12 years ago....WHAT A SURPRISE! No morning sickness, 3 months along, just dizzy and tired! Now starting all over again...EXCITEMENT HAS HIT, belly is there, hope its not twins! Ultrasound on the 18th of APRIL...

by mekaycat2571

11 weeks today! Had my 1st appt day before yesterday and saw baby AND heard the heartbeat! SO EXCITING! This is a weird stage, though....I've lost 6 lbs. since I got pregnant, but my pants aren't fitting properly!! Maybe it's all just migrating....LOL!!!

by syunker03

Im almost 12 weeks and Im so sick! Any one else having the same problem. I dont feel sick I just have the "gags" smells and sights of nasty stuff. I was sick in the beginning I hit 9 weeks and Ive been sick ever since. Does any one have any suggestions on making the gags go away or ease them because its all day long. =( Im really upset Im not having a good time lol.

by shmoop13

I too am in between clothes. I could acutally wear my regular pants but they dig me a little. I already have some maternity clothes. I have pants I bought that are exactly the same shape and size of my regular ones just have a little band. I do have to pull them up time to time but it is much more comfy! Thank god for destination maternity store!

Somedays I want to complain about the all-day sickness (who called it morning sickness in the first place?), the very huge belly already protruding, the clothes that don't fit, etc. But I had a miscarriage just this past November and the only thing I want most is for my baby to make it & grow to full-term so I can have a healthy baby. I don't complain because I'm just trying to make it week-to-week and pray every night that my baby survives..and I just love being pregnant!! :)

by smilez47

Has anyone else had problems with bacterial infections "down there" since being pregnant? My doctor says its because the PH is more easily changed when you're pregnant....i have to take a Rx, but I hate it because it makes me sick and Im worried it will hurt the baby. I'm 11 weeks, and have felt pretty good, but IM SO TIRED and definitely bloated.

by eterres

well just like everyone else, I'm 11wks and my jeans don't button up lol... I am a size 24 (0) so its kind of hard to buy maternity clothes at this point but motherhood maternity has an xs size thats perfect!! and they feel great ;) Congrats to everyone!!

by GraceArik

The only clothes I have that fit comfy are my one pair of old navy yoga pants that has a ext 3 in of fabric a the top that is made for you to fold down but it makes a good pair of maternity pants for now they are not around my belly button digging in like the rest of my pants. but my bras are getting away to tight need to get new ones only issue is the ones i have are new lol. well i guess its time to start ordering maternity

by MoonlightWolf

I am 11 weeks and look like 3!/2 months. Please do try yoga pants they work wonders

by harmor777

In total agreement, but my jeans are so uncomfortable right now that I'm gonna have to break down and buy maternity jeans. Other than that I'm loving being pregnant :)

by irishmommy82

Try the rubberband trick. Loop a rubberband over the snap of your jeans and loop it through your button hole. It will give you a little extra without buying new maternity clothes for another week or two. just wear a longer shirt no one will notice

by jthies18

Finally some relief from morning sickness :) I have started to put on some of the weight I lost being so sick, but my clothes aren't so happy with this latest development. I'll need to find some new stuff soon.

by jessDweek

I am 11 weeks today with my second child. swear I m feeling movement I don't want tell anyone case they will think I'm nuts. I know what gas and other tummy things feel like but this is different. Do you guys think I am feeling the baby??

by hawk0519

I am uncomfortable because my panties don't fit right any more. I don't get it. They seam to dig and the leg holes are too small. Apparently my hips and thighs have gotten much bigger. the thong ones feel like they are cutting in to me. I don't know what to do to be comfortable. I can't go with out because of some very wet changes errrr

by babyblock

So glad to hear everyone else is having the same problem with maternity cloths. I feel nothing but fat! Luckily I have like 1 or 2 pairs of regular pants that still fit (sort of).

by jd0308

I'm 11weeks and 2 days today. This is my second pregnancy and I feel like I ate a big meal but it's not digesting. My pants still fit but everyday I it's getting snugger and snugger. I'm gonna go get a belly band to wear with my jeans so I don't have to button them up. The legs fit fine but the waist is just about gone. All in all I'm excited for my son to be a big brother :)

by whimsygirl37

I am 11w1d today with my first and had my first sonogram (vaginal). I got to see the baby move around and hear it's heartbeat (174 bpm - high!!). I just started experiencing nausea THIS week! If my stomach is full I feel fine but if it starts to get a little empty I'm nauseated. I'm still in regular clothes but not for long! My size 2's are getting tight!!!! My waist has expanded about a gazillion inches it seems but have only gained 5 pounds so far!

by jyoung217

I am happy to be expecting, but I want my body back. Sleep is uncomfortable and clothes don't fit. Heartburn is the worst and my husbands runs from my gas. I have never wore so many sweats in my life, but they are currently the only thing I can fit and the most comfy thing I can put on!

by BKM63012

I HATE feeling like I just look fat. The whole college knows I'm preggo, but I still feel like I should hide the growing pooch til it rounds out. ):

by dnewton92

I find toothpaste is making me gag. That and any aftertaste after eating just about anything makes me feel gross. But other than than. Week 8 was my worst nausia week. Now I'm in week 11, I'm feeling great, other than feeling the fat stage. I went out an bought a few pairs of fat pants to hold me over until I fit into maternity wear, but my husband keeps telling me my butt looks dumpy in them. I guess they're too baggy in the butt. ;) lol Yay for being preggo!!I can't wait to see my little baby!!

by katrunner320

i'm not ready for pregnancy clothes. I still fit in my jeans for now. but still having morning sickness. yuk!!!!!!!!! A I'm 11 weeks 2days. and had my ultrasound and saw the baby move. it was shocking and a moving experience for me. I can't wait to see my little one.

by Sorelle

I completely agree with feeling fat! I step on the scale every morning and it doesn't say that i've gained anything but i feel bloated and i have to leave the top button on my pants undone! Also lately in the mornings i get really hot, light headed and want to pass out so hopefully that goes away soon!

by karlakh2

I can totally relate to the in between stage...luckily a girlfriend of mine bought me a 'bella band" for my birthday which I'm wearing for the first time today. I highly recommend you all find your nearest retailer and get a few- it will allow you to wear your jeans/ pants unbuttoned while still keeping them up. Hope this helps :)

by JessicaV18

Feel fat, Can't wear my skinny jeans anymore. Thats the only downfall.....

by babykumar

I wake up in the morning and look completely normal. By bedtime I look like I'm super pregnant. Wake up the next day and look normal again :) I'm still wearing my regular clothes, but my waist is gone and my abs are nonexistent. I feel chubby but even my husband claims there's no difference. I made him promise to tell me when he starts noticing a bump!

by snowgirl0429

Belly band will help you get some more life out of your clothes and you wont feel fat. I also bought some secret belly pants and they fit really well. They are very stretchy.

by amberz65

How do you change your due date on this webpage?

by jrkdjones

I am already a double D, so I hope my boobs don't get any bigger! Its gonna be really hard finding nursing bras bigger than that!

by klyell87

I am going nuts trying to figure out what this second little bundle of joy will be! I hope its a boy but I have had a blast with my little girl so it doesnt matter i will love it no matter what. Also I feel alittle chubby now a days and before I got pregnant I felt like I looked my best. I am trying to figure out what workouts will be best for me considering my thyroid disorder

Dear Jamiedawn11963...Don't worry :) The heart already started beating at 28 days..Sometimes they can't find the heartbeat right away but if you had an internal sonogram and the doctor examined the baby and said it was okay I would not sweat it..I had a sonogram at 8 weeks and they didn't see the heartbeat, i am 10 weeks now and everything is going perfectly.. :D

by rachblock

I'm with you ladies - at 11 weeks, I grip the flab on my sides and belly and feel fat, not pregnant. I wish I would see a distinctive bump - something to let me know it's in there - but I'm just thick and flabby. Yuck!

by megan.e.jensen@gmail.com

I agree with the clothes!! Ive bought two pairs of maternity pants and constantly pull them up and my other pants feel so tight right now. Not enjoying this being that im finding it harder to find something to wear to work.

by tyesha2684

I also felt like I wasn't ready for maternity clothes just yet - but my regular stuff just wasn't going to cut it anymore. Today I wore my first pair of maternity pants to work with a Bella Band on, too, just to keep them from sliding down. WOW! What a difference. I felt a little akward at first, but by 10AM I was feeling great! It is nice not to feel so uncomfortable and puffy like I did in my regular pants. And I am only 12weeks!

by KristenStensby

I've been so sick that I've lost 10 pounds. My work pants are bigger on me but my jeans are snug purly from my little bump, low rider jeans are not good! I bought a bellaband for now to wear with my jeans. It works pretty well :) I can't wait for this horrible M/S to go away though. I spent most of my time in the ER at 10 weeks because I couldn't even keep down water!

by laistemarie

to jamiedawn tthey couldnt hear my daughters heart beat at first with my first daughter and i was worried too but it turns out.she was and still is just super wiggly!

by starr 87

Im not high in the fashion dept. so i either go in short suits that fit comfy sweats or windpants!! lookin forward for some extra spending money for some nice unexpensive summer dresses!! but what can i say before i found out i was preggers i wore my cowboy boots with wind pants!

by bennie2Be11

its allergy season and i am getting a llot of fever and sore throat what can i do any suggestions?

by negrabella26

I have a lot of stretchy jeans but found this weekend that I couldn't even button them any more. If we're just at home I leave them unbuttoned but if we're out, I do the rubberband thing. I also found that gouchos are great. I can wear them a little lower so they're not so tight and uncomfortable.

by skaulitz

Thank goodness it isn't just me!!! I thought I'd just put on too much weight as was feeling fat and not pregnant, but i am normal YAY! Got my 11 +3 (12wk) Nuchal scan today and am a bit nervous !!! Wish me luck!

by sasssysarz

I am also 11 weeks today! Glad to hear most of you are the same as me...bloated.. And living in sweats and baggy tops!

by Ksakoula

O my goodness! Sooo burpy! And I am so uncomfortable all of the time. Eating used to help the nausea, but now I just get full and uncomfortable. Ugh...I hope this gets better soon!

by StaceyF89

Still constipated. I can't go a day without meat. I don't feel like i've eaten unless i've eaten MEAT!

by andthenilived

Hi all, I am Daddy and We are 11 weeks today. I am having a hard time fitting into my clothes also with the sympathy weight i have already gained......its gonna be a long haul but i am super excited and cant wait on the out come......this is baby # 3 Hope all is well with you all!

by BigDaddy03

A belly band I have found is a big help for this sqwishy inbetween stage. And it looks like I am layering.no has been able to tell I am wearing it. Best 16$ bucks I have spent thus far!!!

by hallmommax2

but vitamins can also cause your pee to be yellow---you may think you need more water but may not,....

by lcalley

I am 11 weeks today too and am just starting to get a belly but I just look like I've been eating too much lol I actually lost almost ten lbs in the last month cus I couldn't eat so my pants still kinda fit but my shirts are all way to snug.

by heathermc28

This is my second and my stomach became very bloated a couple of weeks ago. I have moved into mostly maternity clothes and bought a Belly Band for my pre pregnancy clothes. It goes over your unbuttoned pants and "hides" the fact that you are walking around with unbuttoned pants! I love it! It kind of resembles a tube top, but for your belly! I honestly look about 4 months pregnant, I'm still in shock over what my stomach is doing! I didn't start showing until I was nearly 6 months!

by LANAMCNEILL

omg i cant stand the vomiting and constapation..am 11 weeks WHEN WILL THIS BE OVER???

by kailababy1

Im 11wks along and today seems to be tuff, i feel really sad and down. Anyone else feeling this way? please say yes....i cant wait until second tri

by Dreababy1

im eating and lost 13lb, first pregnancy....i cant wait to start showing!

by brght16blstar

The belly band has no appeal to me so I went out and purchased a pair of maternity jeans, kakhis and capris. They feel SO much better than trying to wriggle my way into normal clothes from all of this bloating. Thank goodness I haven't gained any weight yet, but I'll be ready if/ when I do!

by xt22

For those of you in the 'puffy in between' stage where your clothes don't fit but you're not ready for maternity clothes yet... At 11 weeks, I've given up on anything but dresses at this point. I've found them to be a godsend. None of my pants/shorts fit but my dresses - especially those with a higher waist - fit perfectly and are still very comfortable. Now if only this morning sickness would subside!

by peixe84

I work in a professional environment, and it is sooo frustrating not having nice dress slacks that fit right anymore!! But, I agree it's not time yet for my maternity stuff! I guess we just have to hang in there ladies, and continue to accomodate this growing little baby bump!

by saraiangel

Not Loving the In between stage with clothing. But I AM loving my BE Band. Thanks to it I can still wear my pre prego pants!!!

by iandebender

yes ma'am i hate that too i cant wait to have alittle but of looking like i am preg then just feeling very preg

I have a friend who is slimmer than me and so I am able to use her maternity clothes for this in between stage! I am lucky to not have to invest in anything yet. It's hard to go and invest lots of money into clothes we will only be wearing for a short time! Good Luck ladies! :)

by MntyMndy

Do you gain weight faster the more children? This is my second and i feel like I am huge at 11 wks. I didnt get big till almost 6 months with my first.

by DeAnnDavidson

GAH, I can't tell if it's bump or bloat, but I sure as heck LOOK pregnant. (at 11 weeks?!) My work pants don't fit anymore- at least my boss finds it amusing. lol I'm just happy to be feeling a little better.

The gap has great fashions, especially in pants. I can wear my regular pant size and the no one knows they're maternity. They're so much more comfortable than my regular pants though!

by MrsTriGirl

All I have to say is auuughh in this in-between stage...horrible. RubbeR band here I come

by Siomar

Here's a fasion tip: At this point (11 weeks), I don't look pregnant, I just look fat, and my regular pants don't fit and maternity is still too big. This is my 4th pregnancy and I've found that if I buy a size or two up in regular pants and clothes, they fit much better. And, after I have my baby, before I can get back into my pre pregnancy clothes, I can wear the larger clothes again for a few weeks when the maternity clothes again don't fit.

by Krystal1981

This is my second pregancy, and the first month it was so hard to go to the bathroom. I even had this problem with my first child. But thank God I notice that eatting a cup or more of apple sauce a day was the greastest relief of my life.

by Karessa2

I had a scary episode this week. I had a gush of blood, called my doc, she ordered an emergency scan, baby was fine, but the placenta was lying low. This most likely caused the blood. As the uterus grows, the placenta will be pulled up to where it should be. Scary! But it was so good to see the baby moving around, and see a strong heartbeat! Hope no one else has any scares, they are horrible!

by Annettejoy

Belly Bands are awesome for this stage cause you can still wear your clothes (unbuttoned of course) but wear the belly band over your button and zipper!

by Ashcraven

I'm 11 weeks 2 days now. I noticed my lower back and butt cheeks hurt. I have a desk job so I find sitting on my butt for 15 min or longer really hurts. Anyone else experiencing sore butt cheeks.

by mbela101

Ugh, I had to get the worst sinus cold this week. I was finally going a couple days without morning sickness, and the coughing has started everything back up again!

by megevers

Picked up a few "belly friendly" tops and pants this past week at Target & Old Navy..was going to go the Bella Band route, but decided it was easier in the long run. I can wear some of the pants like a tube dress almost, but it's way comfortable, and they were cute clothes!

by Autumne

omg i hate that i dont fit my clothes but i love that my little baby is growing!! luckily its summertime and i have stretch clothes :)

by pregnant and confused

this is actually my third pregnancy. I thought i would be use to it but its so true that every pregnancy is different. I can wear some of my clothes but most of the time im in sun dresses at lease im a little comfortable.

by kendraothompson

you need to get belly bands to expand your regular pants while your in that wier in between phase. I'm 11 weeks and my clothes don't feel tight at all yet....

by Gizettski

You should def get the Be Band or Bella Band for the in between stages. I picked mine up from Target. Around $15.

by whoknowswhat

im also in that awkward stage. its been pretty hot too but i cant just wear a sundress everywhere. pants are so annoying. im not big enough for maternity pants but even regular leggings or stretch pants feel too tight on my tummy. i also have a hard time with shorts! maternity shorts are so BIG in the legs and long! im only 5'2 so even trying to buy a size up in normal clothes right now is too big everywhere but my tummy. NOT that i want everything else to get bigger! haha

by emilie1980

I pulled out the "FAT" clothes box yesterday - I lost 2 dress sizes but just had a feeling they'd come in handy or I'd hand them down to someone... Some nice things in size 16! Ralph Lauren Jeans, dress slacks... dresses. So while I'm happy I lost the weight, I've put it back on with baby! I also recommend the belly bands! You can wear your current jeans and pants UNbuttoned, but firmly held up. eBay had the best prices - don;t pay 415 for them. i got one for 7 bucks including shipping. Good luck everyone!

by JeniferandSean

still a lil shocked that i made it this far but im a lil on edge ready to feel it move so i know its ok

by tonjaneka85

I'm so glad to know that I'm not alone in feeling fat, puffy, uncomfortable and just plain icky. The maternity clothes waist band is terrible!! I'm surviving with sun dresses....can't wait to be out of these phase......

by hecticangel

Definetely!! I agree too...worst part my bf is grabbing my stomach, as if it was baby...if he only knew that is just belly fat and bloat. lol

by JeanetteO1986

this is my second pregnancie and am 11 weeks today and i just hate that i cant fit into any of my reg clothes and the maternity ones dont fit as well as they should only 11 weeks it sucks n its to hot to wear sweats or sweaters errrrr...

by sclaymon

I am lucky enough that I am in scrubs most of the day but even some of those are tight in areas that I dont care for at all.. few shirts are just not do-able any more and some of my bottoms are getting a little snug around the waist area.. going for the half elastic draw strings and also to see if I can wear T-shirts for the tops.. Have noticed that some of the others have worn them so maybe I can as well

by Teresa76086

I am 11 weeks as well, I have a little belly, more like a beer belly right now, LOL. I cannot wait to actually look pregnant. Does any one else hate the sight of meat right now?

by paterj01

Hi all, I am 11 weeks 1 day and bought cargo pants with stretchy waists from NY & Co. So comfy!

by Kristalandsman

I'm in week 11 too and have been wearing a lot of leggings with fun little dresses over the top. It's the only thing that's comfortable right now. :)

by hmacheel

I am sporting tees, tanks and stretchy shorts @ the moment, its been like 101 deg. this week in South GA. This is my first baby, I finally have a bump. I am due 1/11/2012 so atleast I won't reach my largest point mid summer, Thank goodness. I have been spotting for a week & freaking out! Dr. says its ok a lil odd and is checking heartbeat wkly. I am high risk b/c I'm an insulin dep. Diabetic. Fun! Fun! Sugars are all over the place in prenancy. I do have a suggestion for the lady who is having constipation problems. I have been eating little blocks of cheese for snacks to keep up my calcium. I eat a prune at night before bed and it helps to regulate me. CONGRATS to all ; }

by makaylalynn@msn.com

im having a slew of crappy symptoms, seems like every day i run to my baby books to find out what the heck is going on with me. but i realize that growing a human is tough on a body and at only 11 weeks, my body is still a little bit confused. im ready for the happy glowing pretty part of my pregnancy already! :)

by ParadaFamily

This is my fourth pregnancy. I've been in maternity cloths for 3 weeks. And they fit!!! Ha..Ha.. Everyone says I'm having twins, but my first ultrasound at 8 weeks showed only 1 baby...

by jerseygirl572

So far I can still fit into my regular clothes. I've got a little bulge- totally looks like I'm rockin out a beer gut as well.

by maggiemay1229

I'm juts 11 weeks today and I'm already showing, quite a bit actually. Last week I actually had to go buy a couple of packs of maternity panties (thank goodness they are cuter than the ones my mom wore) because mine were cutting in so bad. I'm not a small girl, I'm not short, and I have lost about 5 pounds so far but I've gained 4 inches on my low tummy and 2 on my waist!!! While I'm glad not to be feeling just "fat" like last week I'm sorta stumped as to how I'm showing so much... I have had several ultrasounds and there is only one baby for sure.

by brebutterfly

I'm 11 1/2 weeks like most of you and we heard the little one's heartbeat for the first time yesterday!!!!!!!!! My mom took me maternity clothes shopping to celebrate so I stocked up on summer dresses. The softer the better! I still fit into my other clothes but stretchy stuff is so comfy. :)

by hmacheel

Feeling pretty good. Nausea is less than before. Saw Doc for the 2nd time yesterday. (11weeks today) I haven't gained a pound. Doc. said I will probably not need maternity clothes for a few more weeks. Didn't hear the heartbeat, but he said that is normal sometimes you can't hear for a couple more weeks. Saw baby moving around.

by Taraafc

well i have a son he is 5 months old and i found out i am pregnant again they werent kidding when they said stay away for 6 weeks!! lol well i am 12 weeks on mon and i am starting to show big time i recently started wearing my maternity clothes again and they are still fitting loose i used to do the rubber band thing but when you have to use the bathroom watch out its a pain to get it undone!!

by jasonsgirl111

Could cold sores be due to my pregnancy anyone. I never broke out like this back to back ever...! I DONT FEEL PREGO, 11 weeks, and i don't have a bUMP yet. WHEN SHOULD I START LOOKING AND FEELING PREGO?

Ugh. I hate my chubby stage. I feel gross, not cute at all. I have only gained 2.2 lbs since I found out I was pregnant. (I found out at 4 weeks, I am now 11) My regular clothes still fit...but not comfortably usually, but yes, maternity pants (even size extra small) are still baggy. Very aggravating.

by ncjc101010

WOW I cant believe every symptom I read for the upcomming week I have. Right on time! I departley have to go out and get myself into new bras. I can't take the rubbing feeling anymore. Any suggestions on brands?

by JSqueo

I share your pain. I bought a belly belt which allows me to still wear my regular jeans because it extends where you button them. I did buy some maternity shirts because since I can't zip the zipper I needed longer shirts. I feel so much better now instead of trying to squeeze into my clothes the old way.

by riverma3

I am a petite girl, I couldn't wear my regular clothes @ 9 weeks anymore :( my belly is growing too fast...yikes!!!

by GloBee1

Yes, the in between stage is killing me! I have been buying clothes a size bigger but they don't hang right. Soon my baby bump will be large and in charge and I'm sure I'll have something to complain about then too :)

Felt baby move last night! Little flutters! I always feel my babies so early! Can't wait to meet this little guy! And I can't wait to show and not just look fat/bloated like other mommy's complained about! haha

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and this is my 2nd pregnancy, I miscarried my first in December and have been trying to remain as cool calm and collected as possible! There's so many changes your body goes through during pregnancy: So many pinches, pulls, tummy aches, and headaches, fatigue and hormons - But let me tell you what, it's well worth the ride! My belly is blossoming and there's no hiding it anymore. Some people don't show till much later but I am starting to see changes already, my morning sickness * which was actually evening sickness * has passed and now I just have the occasional growing pain and constant exhaustion - So looking forward to the rest of this adventure, 11 weeks down - SOOO many more to go!

by marlowe_michelle

I agree once you get bigger you can't fit in your sexy clothes for a while! But there are some beautiful clothes they have for mother to be.you could go to your local mall near you. They have some beautiful clothes there for you as a new mother to be even if you aren't a first time parent!GO THERE!enjoy your baby ladies.cause i'm enjoying miine's little jurnee n eaddy!TAlk to your soon,Evangenlena adriane eaddy!

I just turned 11 today, im still fitting in my jeans on the thighs they just don't fasten.. my mother-in-law gave me a tip to use a hair tie/rubberband. Wrap it around the button then through the hole and around the button.. it's helped keep my pants up and i don't have to worry about the zipper scratching me.. and yoga pants with a cute shirt and cute shoes looks dressy.. and any capri, shorts or pants with a stretchy waist line that isn't maternity works great too.. GOOD LUCK

by aakrt02@yahoo.com

I use an elastic. Loop it around the pants/skirt button, bring through button hole and loop again around the button. It works for a bit. Skirts are my best friend right now

by kellwea

I'm 11 wks today already out of my regular clothes. I went to Walmart and found some shorts that are like work out pants. They are loose and they come above my knee and are very comfortable and affordable. I was worried about buying maternity clothes early but I found a lot of things at Walmart non maternity and still look nice.

by Toya128

Omg! My biggest issue is also not being able to fit into my clothes anymore. Im too early to be having to pull up the ol' stretchy band jeans that my mom used to wear with my first child. Only 11 weeks, but sticking out way more and earlier than with my first two girls.

by stephaniepizana2b

I'm 11 weeks today and not showing yet :( All my clothes still fit pretty good. Except for my bra. Definitely had to buy a bigger size

by McKenzieLoveWed112841

i just went ahead and got a couple pairs of maternity shorts to wear as soon as my regular clothes felt snug. the jeans i found can be loosend as by belly grows. Plus they are super comfy!

by mrsAsullivan

11 weeks and 5 days. I've never been so tired. I'm have a hard time concentrating at work when all I want to do is lay down under my desk and take a nap!

by JH516

I'm super excited. First baby, 11 weeks tomorrow. I can still fit in my clothes but they are a little snug. Thankfully I can wear scrubs at work. I'm having a hard time buying anything...Feel like it is for a babydoll and not a real baby. I have not heard the heartbeat yet, go in on the 20th. Is is acceptable to feel this way?

by BrandyMilliner

Ugh… This is my second baby and I feel 5 months pregnant instead of nearly 3 Haha.

by Yessyames

I just bought a cute dress and it fit me perfect 2 weeks ago. I wore it Sat night out to dinner and felt like my gut was hangin out!!! It is like the stage were I look like I have a muffin top to people that don't know I am 11 weeks! LOL....so uncomfortable. I have gained 10lbs and went from a 4 to a 6 all ready. I am 5'3" so I think I am in for a long ride. Ahhhh

by BLONDIE_TDD

I totally agree, my cloths are not fitting and so uncomfortable and annoying! But!! Old Navy has some great sales and clearance items so I'm happy about that!!

by hwolter1980

This is my 4th pregnancy, first one with my significant other. The last 3 was from a previous marriage and i agree with the in-between stage as well. I have already quite the belly and none of my old pants fit just sweats and odd pairs of pants. my friend was very nice to lend me her maternity pants but my belly isnt quite big enough yet

by ASJSF911F

i am every bit of MISERABLE!!!!!! I need some relief or something. I find myself force feeding and going to sleep just to avoid the crappy feeling of MISERABLE....ugh

by StrongIndependentFemale

im a little surprised to see so many women say they are showing, i thought i had read in a few places that the uterus is tucked up under the pelvic bone until at least the 12th week and then starts making her way up! I am plus size and sort of sad that my baby bump will come much later, if at all. i dont feel bloated or puffy, but i could just be chalking that up to feeling large already! GOOD LUCK LADIES cant wait to meet our living angels!

by SabrinaUT723

My clothing is still fitting the same, but I am still so tired and have nausea all day. I am looking forward to the 2nd trimester!

by babypeeckle

The bella band is perfect for this stage. I can still wear my regular jeans, I just don't have to button OR zip them. AMAZING

by hlroby2

by hlroby2

I am 11 weeks today but my belly started showing at 5 weeks! This is my second child and I also showed early with the first one. I've switched my wardrobe over to pretty much all maternity clothes now and I love it!!! I don't understand why some people want to hide it. Of course, I did have about two weeks of the "I just look fat, not pregnant" stage. :)

by angelbear6781

im already a fatty, i dont even think ill start to show till about a little more than 4 months

by Ellyw

JamieDawn, I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks, and we couldn't hear the heartbeat, but we could see it, and the ultrasound machine said it was 140 bpm. Two years ago, I went in for an ultrasound at 11 wks, and there was no heartbeat. My doctor had me wait a week and go back in for another ultrasound, and I was told I was miscarrying at that point. I hope all goes well for you...

by kangelosborne

My hubby and I are leaving for a weekend in Chicago on Friday and I was just packing...It was the worst experience! None of my jeans fit!! I am bringing maxi dresses and linen pants !! 11 weeks and this? Who knew!?

by angiembonilla

Me too... feeling fat and lazy... Laaazy. And this time of the pregnancy is boring, I'm not going to lie. Uneventful.

by mrryanWed33461

im 11weeks this week too . . . and im feeling the same as everyone else . . . my pants and shirts way to tight but im so small that maternity things dont fit my legs. . . m/s please i have hate my life sickness i barely can drink water still . . . im ready for my 12 week ultrasound i have fears due to my last pregnancy i found out at 12 weeks that the baby had no heart beat so im really nervous. . . .everyone keeps asking if i feel anything I dont does anyone else?

by kelliblastic

Buy the B.Band, you still fit in your regular clothes, the only thing is that you dont button your pants :) its so comfortable

by analorena80

I hear ya sisters on the in-between clothing - its like a daily challenge for work. Was pretty sick wks 9-10 but changing my vitamin really helped. I thought it was morning sickness but it was really a bad reaction to the vitamins.

by kerrlakegal

This is my third pregnancy. I'm 11 weeks and I thought I would luck out with not have morning sickness, but it has begun. It doesn't get easier the third time around! Blah!

by Browneyedgirl78

Yep, same goes for me. I just feel like a fatty and people already think I'm showing - but I shouldn't be really, right?

by colleenfrank14

I went for it already. I bought a couple of pairs of maternity pants that fit. They may not fit the whole way through, but they are way more comfortable than unbuttoned elastic-banded jeans. I don't mind wearing "maternity" things because I am so happy and proud to be pregnant. I am trying to enjoy it for what it is and not stress about things I can't change...like the size of my belly!

by holsmiles

I am 11 weeks and i'm not quite not fitting my jeans but i'm finally beginning to put on the chub. I only suffered morning sickness for about 3 weeks and it's eased up a lot lately. I wasn't sure if I was gaining baby weight or if it was the fact that my appetite was returning to normal. I hope that I can continue to fit into my clothes at least until summers over that way I can go straight into sweats and yoga pants. :)

by aleisa28

I'm 11 weeks, yay! I am also not fitting in any of my pants anymore and my boobs look enormous in any tank top. I haven't told anyone about my pregnancy yet and nobody at work seems to notice which is good but I just feel so huge! I've been wearing the belly band because I can't bring myself to buy maternity clothes yet.

by eluino78

Im happy to see that I am not the only one who is not fitting into there regular clothes. Ive been wearing the belly band for about a month now. I had an appointment on Tuesday and my doctor said wow your not even showing yet... Tell that to my clothes and underwear. 200 more days cant wait to meet my baby!!!!

by amelia0623

I have been relying on skirts with stretchy waistbands and A-line style cotton dresses. I'm normally a jeans and t-shirt kind of person, but I need to dress nicer for work, and since it's an extra hot summer, the jersey fabrics are extra roomy and breathable.

by innerpeaces

I learned to lower salt in take by reading ... my last pregnacy went well i did not puff up when we went out i would order fries no salt every thing has salt in it just dont add salt to it add something else taste full if need be ... i'm so doing that now with this pregnacy and when i did crave soemthing it was penuts or something sub... with sea salt ...

by wilson8405

I am 11 1/2 weeks and I hate drinking water as well. Everything makes me nauseous, but what has helped is putting a little fresh lemon in the water. My nurse also suggested try drinking 1/2 cup-1cup an hour of water. Pouring it in a small 1/2 cup container helps to stomach the water. That has helped me with the water intake...Now I just need to stop being nauseous!!! Come on second trimester!!!!!

by latoyarenee25

the belly tube things from the maternity store are a lifesaver- i am 11 wks and got one saturday... you can still wear your favorite pants and no one knows they are unbuttoned and unzipped:)

by brooklynnryan

Trust me ladies, the best thing you can do is buy a pair of Gap maternity jeans! They're a little more pricey than some, but they are comfortable and they make me look more pregnant than just fat, like the belly band does! Plus, they don't look like maternity pants! Just give in and let yourself enjoy getting bigger, your baby is growing!! So excited to hear my baby is lime-sized!! Congrats mamas!

by LHollow1

get a pregnancy belt...i got mine at target.com...4 for $20

by sknigh40

go to target.com and by a belly belt...$20 for 4 of them...they are great

by sknigh40

im 11 weeks and so excited to be almost at the 3 month point!!! I insist that I have a small baby bump but my husband says I dont. I just feel bloaded all the time so it makes me feel a little fatter. booooooooo!!! not fun! I was so nauseous all the time for the first 9 -10 weeks, but I suddenly started to feel much better. Swimming really helps.. when youre feeling really sick try getting in the pool or beach, if you live close enough to the water. That was like the only thing that made me feel normal when I was feeling really sick. Plus the excercise is really good for you and the baby.

by gabrielan

I'm 11 weeks pregnant today and as most have already stated, I can't fit a thing accept stretch pants, tees, and sun dresses. I can barely even fit my bras and underwear at this stage. I feel very out of shape! How is this when the fetus is only the size of a lime? And I've also gained 15 lbs. This is my first pregnancy and I must say, even with all the changes in my body, I am looking forward to this beautiful experience.

by superwomantoy59

i am 11 weeks and feel fat too.. can't wait to feel PREGNANT ! everything is tight. boo.

by mamatam37

I'm 11 wks too and boy is time going by slow. Dealing with funny smells does suck. Its my 1st baby so I'm just going through the motions. Currently house hunting and working excessive hours at work due to a promotion. Its good to know we not in this alone even if the men are around!!!!!

by aquinnevent

I'm not loving how every evening I am so bloated and have an obvious bump. Each morning I love waking back up to my nice flat tummy and feeling full of energy.

by adunndds

Quick tip for those that still fit into your regular jeans but need a little extra room in the waist... I use a thick hair tie or rubber band and loop it around the hole of where you button your jeans then loop the other end around the button gives you about an extra inch until you're big enough for maternity jeans. I am still holding out...

I was in the fat stage a week ago but have been so sick the past week I think I've lost weight. I started out a little bit underweight so I'm afraid of what the dr. will tell me at my appointment this week :( I have been trying so hard to eat but m/s has is at its worst this week - I can't keep anything down! I can't wait for the second trimester - this sucks!!!

by sbnorton

I found some cute maternity clothes at Khols to grow into..thought they were much more affordable and had a better selection that Target

by webster1305

The thing that is driving me crazy the most is not getting enough sleep. I am up 2 or three times to the bathroom and wake up EVERY night at 2 or 3 STARVING! LOL

by krisbum81

I'm 11 weeks and 3 days and can't even rubber band my old pants together. I am in maternity bottoms or at least elastic waist bottoms 100% Last pregnancy this time i was still in my own clothes. Twins is a whole new world for me!!

The Bella Band has been a lifesaver for me when it comes to making my clothes fit. This is my second pregnancy and I'm starting to show already but like you ladies not enough to really go into maternity clothes. They sell the Bella Band at Target, you should check it out. I usually wear a size 6-8 so the medium works for me but the packaging has a great sizing chart to help you find which size you need. Hope this helps.

by ameraz22

I recently lost 25lbs and I was so excited to get into skinny jeans and cuter clothes...then I got pregnant! As excited as I am about the pregnancy, I'm not happy that I'm starting to feel like I'm piling the pounds on again and feeling puffy all over. Same deal, I'm not ready for maternity clothes but my current clothes are getting uncomfortable -- I'm kicking myself for getting rid of my old (bigger) clothes =(

by Elagro

I'm 11 weeks and found some elastic pants at maurices that are great for my inbetween stage. Only bummer is they are only in one color!

by jdoerfler0722

Does anyone go to the bathroom and then feel like they have to pee again right after?

by LauP803

I had my first ultra sound two days ago and my Dr called today to let me know I have a tear between my placenta and the umbilical cord. She has said to stay off my feet as much as possible and no sex until I come back in 3 weeks for another ultrasound. How serious is this?

Thank you all for making me feel better! I felt like I was the only one feeling like this- 11 weeks and bloated, puffy and feeling anything but attractive- praying for the real bump to come soon!!!

by tlcapano

I am now 11 weeks and it was just last week that my nauseau turned into throwing up. It was for 2 days straight. I am hoping this week will be better. It makes it rather hard to get through meetings at work when you are about to throw up. The exciting thing is my first ultra sound is today, I can't wait to see baby's heart beat. :)

I am also hating the fat phase! i bought a bella band (ingidandisabelle.com) and it is working to keep my unbuttoned jeans up! I have friends who have also worn them to keep loose maternity pants up! Going shopping with Grandma to be this weekend!

by Mkysgrl

I am at week 11 and i have actually lost 2 lbs. I started a little overweight though. Everything still fits me fine, so I am not sure when i should get maternity clothes. I bought some yoga pants and leggings just in case i wake up one morning and nothing fits. They say it takes longer to show with a first pregnancy, but I am ready to start feeling pregnant. The morning sickness is pretty much gone now too, i get a little sick if i eat too quickly but thats about it.

by wonderhopey

What lime is only 1.6 inches long?? Haha.. another site told me I was a fig!! Huge difference..but ok :)

by melindagarner

11 weeks too :) no problems at all except my boobs are GIANT!

by j5born

I am 11 weeks and feel very bloated and simply fat. I cannot wait to tell people so they can stop looking at me like I put on "post wedding" weight. As far as bowel movements go I have a problem 100% of time even before I was pregnant, but I have found that if I take a stook softener with New Chapter Prenantals it is so much easier on my stomach. They have all the same ingredients but they are formulated different. There are a lot of prescription prenatals with stool softners in them, but it is not too favorable for your stomach. Dr's do not know a lot about vitamins and prescribe whatever there reps give them. You can buy them at whole foods.

I broke down and bought the next size up in jeans. Normally I would freak out about going up a size, but I'm not ready for maternity pants yet. It is still so strange to try to feel good about my expanding waistline!

by lmmhazlet

rig your pants ladies by looping a hair tie through the hole and extending it to the button, a little trick my mom showed me as i hit this stage...

by oakie1004

I'm 11 weeks today. I notice a tiny bump forming, looks more like bloating. I still fit into all my clothes fine, but I have 4 older sisters with kids and they didn't show for a while. About the heart beat, I have been hearing my baby's since I was 6weeks. I heard it at 6 weeks vaginally, and then at 8 weeks over the belly.

by hlf03c

I'm just 11 weeks and I was feeling GREAT for the last week and a half and now the m/s is back to being awful! Also, my sense of smell is crazy- I swear I could work as a drug-sniffer at the airport.

by cahillmk

The belly bands that you can buy are FANTASTIC! They hold your regular clothes up without having them fastened! You can even find really cute ones that have lace on the bottom edge, just in case your shirt pulls up! JC Penney and Target have them very reasonably priced!

by timic

I am right there too! First pregnancy and I'm feeling big, not pregnant yet. I have one pair of maternity jeans that are still too big for me and all my shirts are getting way too small. I did get the belly band from target and that definitely helped with being able to still wear my regular pants. Highly recommend it!

by Miranda Baxley

I am happy that my nausea finally left, sometimes mood swings are WILD but i am coping with it slowly.... i look like im 5 months pregnant, this is my 3rd child so im showing EARLIER... so im not liking that.. i fit in NOTHING, time to go shopping huh?.

by MrsSlater070504

I had a clothing meltdown last week. I felt so uncomfortable and ugly ! I went shopping for bigger jeans and instead found a Bella Band. This thing rocks ! You just put it on over your unbuttoned jeans, pants, skirts etc and it holds them up and allows you to feel comfortable again ! It looks just like you have some layered tees on. Now I can hold off on the maternity clothes for a few more weeks !

by bigpaw27

I'm 11 weeks and I really haven't gained any weight yet I still fit in my regular clothes but they fit a little tighter than usual and I have noticed that my belly has been sticking out a little more than it usually does but it just worries me that others are gaining more...never thought I would say that.

by jls3457

Any other fat pregnant ladies out there? I was 30 pounds overweight when I got pregnant and haven't had any morning sickness - like my mom, thanksfully! Other than feeling bloated and being constipated I don't feel pregnant at all. When most women will begin to start showing I feel like I'll be missing the excitement of "just starting to show." Not bad since I'm not telling work until I have to, but wondering how other big girls might be feeling.

by sbrasny

My husband walked in on me getting ready this morning and his comment was, "babe your pants are a little tight." My response was ,"we will be shopping this weekend." Im working on it but still feel a little puffy at times.

I almost 11 weeks and to buy a tonne of new and gently used maternity clothes this week. This is my 3rd and I am a bit on the heavy side so it was quite a challenge to find clothes for my new job and for relaxing at home, but found some great deals and am glad to have clothes that fit. Very strange being pregnant again after 11 years since my youngest was born, but we are looking forward to this new adventure.

by bullies2011

It is official: My first too tight pair of pants this morning. I am sad, but excited, too. In the last few days I really seemed to have "thickened" around my hips/belly area. I can't wait to get bigger! Also can't wait to share the news next week!

by cfreeman84

I feel like I'm gaining to much to fast. Before I became pregnant I had lost almost 90 lbs, and now I feel like I'm going to pack all of that back on, but i feel like I look bigger and weigh more. My friends and family disagree but that's how I feel. Anyone else feel anywheres the same as that?

by Graicelynn

I'm having twins and I've been in the "popped" phase since about week 7 (when I bought my first maternity jeans because even my fat jeans couldn't contain the belly). There was absolutely no point in even trying to hide the pregnancy from the people who see me everyday - I'm normally really, really tiny and all of a sudden I had this nice, round stomach sticking out past my boobs (and I had boobs for the first time ever)!

by bromios

I Love my maternity clothes! So comfy with no buttons!

by missteach1623

I'm confused about some of these fruit sizes. Isn't a lime longer than 1.6 inches?

by BethRach

I agree with all of you on the clothing issues. I have found my saving grace....Bebands (belly bands). They have allowed me to continue to wear my regular clothes just unbuttoned or zipper down. No one even notices. I use an elastic around the button and through the hole for added security and then throw on my Beband. It simply looks like I am wearing a fashionable camisole...the Bebands even come in styles with lace trim....very trendy. HDL Cholesterol Levels
