Baby Shower Theme: Celeb-a-Baby

This party is for the tabloid- and paparazzi-loving mom, who can't get enough of celebrities.

Make her -- and baby -- feel like superstars with a celebrity-inspired shower she'll adore. Pull inspiration from her favorite gossip magazines, blogs, and reality shows and be sure to incorporate lots of photos!

The Invite: Put baby in the spotlight right away with an invitation featuring a peek at his or her sonogram. This innovative invite, designed by Bonnie's Press for Tiny Prints, is sure to be a new trend.

The Decor: Enlist a graphic-designer pal to create a mock cover of a favorite celebrity gossip magazine. Be sure to include photos of the mama-to-be mixed in with ones of celebrity moms and their babies. Make prints on glossy photo paper, place them in jeweled frames and set one on each table. Then scatter a few sparkly pacifier favors on the table.

The Cake: A sheet cake adorned with a photo of the guest of honor as a baby herself would be a perfect complement to the paparazzi-driven party. For a little added bling, add Swarovski Crystal cake jewels.

The Game: Celebrities are known for out-of-the-ordinary baby names. Research a bunch and have guests guess which moms gave their babies names such as Zuma(Gwen Stefani), Coco (Courtney Cox), Sunday (Nicole Kidman), Banjo (Rachel Griffiths), and Bronx Mowgli (Ashlee Simpson-Wentz). Be sure to pick up mags like US Weekly, InStyle, and OK to give out as prizes.

The Favor: These star-shaped wine bottle stoppers from Pink Frosting are a clever way to remind guests of the little star to come.
