Pregnancy Week by Week

Get a window on what’s happening in your pregnancy, week by week. From week four to week 42, your baby is experiencing a miraculous transformation from a clump of cells to a fully formed (and totally cute) newborn. Just imagine, as early as five weeks, your baby is already starting to form major organs (heart, stomach, liver, and kidneys) and systems (digestive, circulatory, nervous). By eight weeks, your raspberry-sized womb-mate is moving her arms and legs. At the beginning of your second trimester (week 14), your wee one is sucking his thumb. By week 28, the first week of the third trimester, baby (now as big as an eggplant) is prepping for breathing, developing his eyesight and packing on pounds in anticipation of life outside the womb. Each week is a new miracle. Less miraculous is how a mom-to-be may feel. Pregnancy Week-by-Week charts your baby’s development but also lets mom know what she might be feeling during each week of her pregnancy. Pregnancy week by Week includes everything mom needs to know to feel a sense of control over her pregnancy. Each week offers a complete guide to what you might feel, your must-do’s, your nice-to do’s, and answers and advice on everything pregnancy-related. Plus each week’s guide offers tips on maintaining a healthy and comfortable pregnancy from strategies on coping with pregnancy symptoms (morning sickness anyone?) to ideas for healthy eating, and pointers on talking to your OB. Let us guide you along your pregnancy, week by week.

Q&A: How to hide my pregnancy?

I'm not quite ready to break the news yet, but I'm starting to show. Any tips for hiding my belly a couple more weeks?

Not that we're into deceit and trickery or anything, but... of course!

[  ] Start complaining. "I'm so fat" ... "There's just no time to work out anymore "... You get the idea.

[  ] Try to curb the cravings. While pickles with peanut butter may sound sumptuous to you, a. it'll raise some eyebrows, and b. it's really kind of gross. No offense.

[  ] Put a lime in whatever you order (try clear beverages or watered down cranberry juice) and it'll look just like a cocktail.

[  ] Hold off on the maternity clothes just a little longer... or at least find some cute ones.

[  ] Keep the "doctor's appointments" to a minimum. Try the old plumber/electrician/cable guy/whatever excuse instead.

Q&A: How to hide my pregnancy?

I am having the same issue. I have been trying to wear higher waisted pants (not super low rise) to not call attention to my stomach. I feel like these cut my stomach at the right spot so my stomach is not as bulging. Good luck! Pregnancy Ticker

Q&A: How to hide my pregnancy?

I have been job hunting and am 11 weeks. A lot of the shirts you see at the mall are very loose fitting and to me have almost looked like materity wear. There are super cute sweaters and shirts that are loose and dont show your stomach, I think fashion has gone that route because America is over weight anyway... ANd dont put your hand on your belly or do the pregnancy waddle or the stand where you put your hands on your hips and almost lean back and push your stomach out, lol. Layers and accesories take attradtion away from your belly.

Im not too far along and I am liking the belly band because it is smoothing out my waist some under my tighter shirts.

Q&A: How to hide my pregnancy?

Since my belly started to pop, I've been wearing very loose and flowy shirts. Because it's summertime here, no one has questioned it.

Q&A: How to hide my pregnancy?

Shirts that have ruffles or tiering hide baby bumps pretty well. Also flowing non-form fitting dresses will also camouflage your belly.

Q&A: How to hide my pregnancy?

If you've got a business meeting or job interview to attend, a london style trenchcoat as formal wear, will hide that belly bump like nobody's business.
