Re: When will baby start sitting up?
By the time your baby is six to eight months old, she should be able to sit up on her own for a few minutes. But this takes some energy, so don’t be surprised if she starts to lose interest or gets tired and topples over -- it’s totally normal. In the beginning, you’ll even have to prop up baby and help her into a sitting position. But as her muscles get stronger, pretty soon she’ll be doing it on her own.
