Disclaimer: Don’t freak out if yours is slightly different. Some babies are “snack-size” nappers, taking short catnaps throughout the day, and others sleep in hefty chunks, so they may take fewer ones. But it’s not about how many naps so much as how much sleep baby gets total.

Age: 0 to 1 month
Daytime sleep: 10 hours (various naps)
