Weeks 3 to 4: Stubble

Average size: 0.25 inches

This week, baby is close to a quarter inch long. How big is that? About as big as those tiny split shot sinkers that you’re taking on your next fishing trip.

Your baby is almost an inch big and now officially qualifies as a fetus, which means, she’s not just a ball of cells, she’s growing organs and other body parts.

Baby just keeps on growing — in the next couple of weeks, she’ll nearly double in length.
