As the breast versus bottle debate rages on, our mission remains the same: give you all the advice and help you need on baby feeding, whether you go with breastfeeding, bottle feeding or (as many moms wind up doing) a combination of both. If you opt for the breastfeeding route, our guide will start you off with the most basic question: how to breastfeed a baby. We also have answers to the questions that will come next, like what to do about sore or inverted nipples, handling a baby that bites, different breastfeeding positions, all the ins and outs of pumping, traveling while nursing, and finally, the weaning process. For moms who choose to go with the baby bottle, we also start off with the basic “how to” question. You’ll also find help for issues like what type of baby bottles to use, sterilizing bottles (and whether you really need to), bonding with baby over the bottle, and selecting a formula. There are also tons of baby feeding issues that apply no matter which route you choose -- making sure baby is eating enough, nighttime feedings, dealing with thrush, and eventually starting baby on solid foods. Get even more help on our community message boards, where your fellow Bumpies will offer help and support at every turn.
