The Bump Expert

Most NICUs are thrilled to have mothers there to nurse their babies. Research is very clear that human milk is very important for ill or preterm babies. Most NICU doctors and nurses know this and will support you in breastfeeding or pumping milk for your baby. You certainly can instruct them that your baby should get only your milk unless there is a clear medical need for some other food.
