If there is a class available to you, yes. Attending a good breastfeeding class can help you better understand how breastfeeding works; how to establish a healthy supply of breast milk; how to help baby latch; how to know if baby is getting enough milk; different breastfeeding positions; and who to call if you need help. Ideally, it will also help your mate learn how he can help and support you in breastfeeding, and you’ll get to see breastfeeding in action, which is an invaluable experience.
