Re: How often does my seven-month-old baby need to nurse?
At seven months, mother's milk is still recommended as a baby's primary food, so your baby will probably still need to nurse about seven or eight times per day. Solid foods, which are usually started at about six months of age, will become a greater part of your baby's diet as he grows. But at this stage, most babies are only experimenting with solids and taking small amounts so they won't replace any breastfeedings. It is not unusual for breastfed babies to still be breastfeeding.
