Re: How much breast milk does my toddler need? My two-year-old nurses twice per day. How do I know if she's getting enough?
By the time a toddler is only nursing twice each day, breastfeeding is more a source of comfort and immunity than a source of overall nutrition. (Don't get us wrong -- those extra goodies she gets from your milk are still wonderfully beneficial.) As long as baby is growing properly and is otherwise healthy, you can assume she's getting plenty to eat.
