A baby older than a month or so needs about 25 to 30 ounces of milk in a 24-hour day. So if your baby feeds a lot at night, yes, he or she will probably need less milk during the day. But if a baby sleeps for long stretches at night, this means more frequent feedings during the day to make up for lost time.
