Re: Can I take Prozac while I'm breastfeeding?

The Bump Expert

Prozac is considered to be compatible with breastfeeding, but a significant amount does enter your milk, so other antidepressants are considered better choices. Zoloft and Paxil, for example, show up in lower amounts in a mama's milk. Talk to your doctor about your options.

Q&A: Is prozac safe?

I am looking for the same answer. Can't find it on the internet. There is a lof of information on whether one should take prozac during pregnancy or not, but not much is there when it comes to after birth. Looked it up on drugs.com, webmd.com, and even on Side effects of prozac directory but could not find anything. Although I have now deposited the same question on these web sites. Some one might return the call.
