Netflix for Baby Clothes?
Baby shopping can be frustrating when your tot is growing so fast -- especially when it seems like even the clothes you bought a week ago are starting to get snug. Then it’s another trip to the store to buy more clothes that will be too small in a matter of weeks. Well, we’ve found a great website, PlumGear.com, that’s come to the rescue. Calling itself the “Netflix for baby clothes,” the site allows mamas to pick out their favorite brand and size (it carries sizes 0-3 to 2T) for baby. Their choices will be mailed right to their door -- all for the price of $16 a month! The best part is that when baby outgrows the bundle, mom can send it back and order a new set. If you’re worried about secondhand clothes, Plum is careful to only send impeccable clothes to subscribers. Clothes that have stains or that are a little rough around the edges get sent to children in need in foster homes. Every bundle gets cleaned in energy-efficient washing machines with a detergent that’s hypoallergenic and free of fragrances and dyes. We think it’s a great (and green!) way to save money and space on clothes for baby!
