Mom Induces Labor So Baby Can Meet Dying Father Photo: Union Photography
We told you the story a few weeks back about the woman who induced her labor so her newborn could meet her dying sister, and now here’s another tearjerker. According to CBS Houston, a North Texas woman, Diane Aulger, induced her labor early so her baby could meet her dying husband, Mark. Dad-to-be Mark was suffering from colon cancer and his lungs were failing after chemotherapy. When the couple found out that Mark had only a few days to live, Diane, who was eight months pregnant, made the decision to give birth two weeks early. After the delivery, Mark was the first one to hold daughter Savannah and he held her for 45 minutes. A few days after the birth, Mark went into a coma and died five days later with his daughter in his arms.
