Should Baby Have an Online Presence Before She’s Even Born? Photo: Shutterstock / The Bump
Obviously, here at The Bump, we’re all for moms sharing baby pictures and details on their infants’ milestones with family and friends -- we offer baby websites for cryin’ out loud! So we don’t think it’s a big deal that one couple created a Facebook page for their baby who isn’t even born yet, as ABCNews.com is reporting. In fact, it’s kind of sweet that the family wants to keep the page as a sort of pregnancy journal. But we’re not sure the practice is for everyone. We mean, some moms-to-be don’t even want know their baby’s sex or reveal their name before the birth, let alone give them an online presence, complete with an “About Me” description. What do you think?
Is it okay for an unborn baby to have their own Facebook profile or web page?
