Victoria’s Secret Models Are Moms, Too. Why They Feel Sexier After Baby Photo: OfficialSwif / YouTube
It’s impossible to watch the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and not compare your own body with those glam, but thinner than a toothpick models. And while some of us might not be blessed with a supermodel body, it’s nice to know that three Angels in particular got even more mojo after they gave birth. Even though Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio probably went on super strict diets, did four million crunches and likely have amazing metabolisms -- basically they’re not your average human -- they said, in interviews, they still believe that motherhood makes a woman sexier and more empowered. We couldn’t agree more about that fact! Kerr and Kroes are fairly new mamas (they both gave birth last January) and Ambrosio had her daughter in 2008. The models all agree that their bodies will never be the same as they were prepregnancy, but they love their new curves and feel more womanly and mature, according to the Washington Post.
And these ladies aren’t the first ones to wow the audience with their postbaby bods -- Heidi Klum, anyone? The mom of four made a surprise appearance at the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show six weeks after giving birth to daughter Lou.
Yeah, some of us might not be able to get in shape right after baby like these mamas, but at least we can all agree that it’s important to be proud of your body (and the baby it made!) and your new role as mom.
Did you watch the fashion show? What do you think of these supermodel mamas?
