You’re either going to love it or hate it, but just don’t expect to get any useful tips from Pregnant in Heels, the new series on Bravo. If you made it through the first episode and its over-the-top situations that rival the famous Housewives series, you’re probably left wondering: Who exactly is this Rosie Pope, and what is wrong with these people? Rosie was a ballet dancer in London and came to NYC to pursue a modeling career -- that explains her mile-long legs! Now she caters to the city’s most affluent moms-to-be, who have money to spend for all the help they can get.
A focus group (what’s wrong with just polling friends?) for naming a couple’s son proves to be entertaining and slightly offensive because the group members take themselves so seriously and the couple gets defensive. But there are a few moments of emotional connection (Rosie is going through IVF, trying desperately get pregnant) and enough drama that we might be inclined to watch again next week.
If you missed Pregnant in Heels, catch it every Tuesday at 10 p.m.
