Most Fertile Woman Ever? Mom Gets Pregnant Seven Times in Five Years
This woman cannot stop getting pregnant, literally. According to Huffington Post, 23-year-old Gemma Potter from the UK has been pregnant seven times in five years even after being on contraception. She has tried all different forms of birth control – birth control pills, coil, injections and condoms, but she still managed to conceive. After giving birth to her second child, Potter changed her birth control and had a coil inserted, but she got pregnant again and later miscarried. After that, she started using the injection method, but found out she was expecting another baby -- her third child, Sophie. Potter also suffered an ectopic pregnancy while expecting her fifth child and another miscarriage.
And even though Potter was back on the pill and only had sex with her husband three times in four months, she recently found out she was pregnant with her fourth child! The soon-to-be mom of four insists she’s done with having kids, but can’t stop getting pregnant. She says that being pregnant so much hasn’t helped her maintain a career or friendships. Potter’s doctors have been unable to help with her situation. When she and her husband have asked for medical advice, their doctors told them that they were just a fertile couple. Well, obviously!
What do you think of this woman’s medical problem? What would you do if you were in her shoes?
