You’ll Never Guess What They Found Traces of On Public Changing Tables Photo: Mark Lund
Aside from the stuff baby’s diaper leaves behind, researchers found something else lurking on those public changing tables. You’ll never guess…Cocaine, apparently. Yup, you heard that right. According to the UK’s Mirror, investigations were done on over 100 public restrooms with baby-changing facilities in the UK. In 92 percent of the facilities, traces of cocaine were found on changing tables. With that news, it’s probably not a surprise that the UK was named the cocaine capital of Europe last month.
This is pretty crazy! And another thought comes to mind: What substances are on the changing tables we have here in the U.S.? Plus, if you’re going to do cocaine (which we don’t condone!), why in the heck would you do it off a changing table?
So moms, don’t forget! Next time you’re changing baby’s diapers in public, give it a good wipe-down with an antibacterial cloth before you go on with your business.
What do you think of these findings? Are you spooked like us?
