Victoria Beckham May Have Scheduled Her C-Section for July 4 -- Would You? Photo: Associated Press / The Bump
It’s rumored that Victoria Beckham and husband David Beckham are hoping their baby girl will be born July 4 -- and may have even made plans for a scheduled c-section on that date. British paper The Sun is suggesting the couple chose Independence Day to honor the US and reports that “a friend” said: "Vic and David love America, its culture and her people, who have welcomed them with open arms.” But it fails to mention that July 4 is also the couple’s anniversary! It totally makes sense to us that if a woman is told by her doctor that she needs to schedule a c-section within a certain date range, and one of those dates is meaningful to her, she’ll pick it. (Also, can we point out that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s twins were born on their anniversary? We don’t know if that one was scheduled though....) Or maybe there are certain dates for a c-section a mama-to-be wouldn’t pick, so baby has her own special birthday she doesn’t share with a holiday or other celebrations.
Did you have a scheduled c-section? How did you pick the date?
