Recall Alert: Guidecraft Twist ‘N Sort Toys and LittleLife Baby Carriers Photo: CPSC
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 760 units of Guidecraft’s Twist ‘N Sort toys. The pegs on the posts can detach, causing a choking hazard. There have been no incidents or injuries reported. The toys being recalled have the product number 712 printed on the bottom of the base. The product was sold at specialty toy stores and gift shops, in catalogs and online from September 2009 to November 2010. If you have one of these toys, immediately take it away from your child and contact the company to receive a replacement or another product of equal value. Guidecraft can be reached at (888) 824-1308 or through its website, Guidecraft.com.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission also recalled about 40 units of the LittleLife Discoverer child carriers. The carriers were sold without bolts that attach the main frame to the metal stand. These missing bolts can make the carrier disconnect and fall backward, causing a fall hazard. There have been no incidents or injuries reported. The carriers being recalled have “LittleLife” printed on the back and the number LS55060 printed on a tab underneath the care label. They were sold at outdoors stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, SkinnySkis.com, TheBaseCamp.com and MadAthlete.com from January 2011 to July 2011. If you have one of these carriers, stop using it immediately and check to see if the bolts are missing. If they are, contact LittleLife for a replacement. You can contact the company by phone at (877) 922-5462, by email at email@example.com or through its website, LittleLife.com.
