I love reading Snarky Mommy. She always makes me laugh after a long day.

I vote BabyMakinMachine! She is hilarious & full of life! Just this month she helped raise $1100 for March of Dimes! What other blog has done that!? She is compassionate, loving, & she deserves this!

I vote for BabyMaking Machine: Her blog is very unique in highlighting the journey and preponderance of motherhood. How often do you get to read about that, and how often do we even discuss this topic?! I find it so refreshing and quite important! Plus, her presentation and style of writing is engaging, entertaining and fresh!

I have to vote for Baby Makin(g) Machine! She makes me laugh every time I read her blog. I just got found out I was pregnant (this week!!!) and now I have even more reason to read!

I have gone to each of the finalists’ sites. Some I liked and subscribed to, but none had the feeling that Mom Tried It has. Instead of feeling like a viewer or spectator in a reality show, I felt like I was involved. She had written that the site is kind of like a play date without refereeing kids, I can see that. I always share ideas with my friends. Mom Tried It is a site that I really feel compelled to go to everyday! I signed up with email subscription because I don’t want to miss it. I know that there is something I can use each and every day. While stepping outside of your life and into someone else’s is fun every now and then, I find that as a mom I need help. I feel as if she really cares about me as a fellow mom. She asked her readers to NOT vote for her in this portion and asked them to vote for another site. I did not see that coming at all. Did you know that she is taking the gift card prize she won for winning her category and giving it back to moms that read her site? While she shouldn’t win because of that, that says a lot about her character and her focus of the blog. She seems genuinely moved to support moms. I am just a regular old stay at home mom. A working mom, single mom, stay at home mom, new mom, expecting mom, or any of those options in dad form would be able to relate and find something useful in this site. While I can’t know what you are looking for in the best overall blog, I know what I am looking for. I found it in Mom Tried It. That is my pick for Best Overall Blog Award winner and one of my new favorite sites (not just blogs, or parenting stuff, but all of the sites I frequent).

The Spohrs Are Multiplying!!! I adore this family and this blog. Heather is the kind of writer that makes you laugh and cry and her family has been through so, so much. The Spohrs have raised over $100,000 for the March of Dimes in memory of their daughter, and they started a charity in her name. If she wins, she's going to give the entire prize to that charity. The Spohrs are amazing and reading their blog will change your life.

I think that matt, liz and madeline should be the blog to win. It is such an inspirational story and he is donating the money that would be won to such a good cause.

Baby Makin(g) Machine is one of the most honest blogs out there. She unselfishly speaks from the heart, which is why I like reading her posts. She articulately captures the hopes, fears and dreams of every women who wants to get pregnant and provides real resources for women who have fertility questions. Above all else, she is leverages her popularity to do good as evidenced by her recent fundraising campaign for the March of Dimes. Her tireless efforts paid of big and made a lifetime fan out of me!

The Spohrs Are Multiplying is my first last and only pick from these blogs. Heather has been through the most horrifying event any mother can imagine (believe me i know, unfortunately) the loss of her daughter. she has bravely blogged through it all, showing raw emotions, and rallying to help other babies that could be in danger of the same awful fate. now, i travel with her down the new pregnancy road, and i remember my subsequent children, and the TERROR i felt waiting for them to be born healthy and stay that way. no one else shares painful stories like hers, its like having a best friend i've never met, she and i and a small group of other women know each other through our life experience, if no other way, it is a special bond.

I love the best daddy blog: matt, liz and madeline. Matt is an amazing writer; he puts all of his thoughts and feelings on his page. He makes you laugh, cry, and celebrate. He is doing a wonderful job raising his daughter Madeline. He started the Liz Logelin Foundation to help people that are in his situation, so if he wins, the money will be put to great use.

Ugh, I have to choose just one now?? I'm going with my girl Meghan from MULTIPLE BABY PILE UP. I've 'known' her for well over a year now and she is nothing but sweet.

I would like to cast my vote for Multiple Baby Pileup. Megan is a wonderful writer... her story is so moving, so full of ups and downs with her little ones, and she expresses it all so eloquently in her blog. She makes us laugh, makes us cry, makes us feel like we know her... and makes us appreciate our own families even more. I've been following her blog for about 2 years now (just after her little ones were born) and her story even inspired my son to create a local toy drive in honor of Megan's baby Jack, bringing new toys to children at a hospital in our area. It was an extraordinary experience for him, and I thank Multiple Baby Pileup for that!

My husband and I are TTC and I go to her blog a lot for reference and even email her with questions because she has done ALL of the research! He has said that if he wins he will match the winnings 100% and donate to his charity to help out other people in his situation.

Mutiple Baby Pileup is one of the most inspirational blogs I have read in a long time. Not only does Megan describe what the family is going through and has been through, but reading the joy of raising the twins feels like nothing short of a miracle! This blog is a definite winner!

I was truly impressed with the selfless attitude of "Mom Tried It". After winning the semi finals she said "If you do have time, please take the opportunity to vote for To The Max, the Special Needs Blog winner. I can imagine that family could really use the $1,000 prize money. The financial strain of a special needs child can be overwhelming, let's try to help them out." She even gave away her prize to her blog readers saying "I didn't really do anything. You guys are the ones that voted, you guys are the ones that support me with your comments, and you guys are the ones that help me make it through the rough spots of the day. So this prize is YOURS." I was not impressed by the selfish attitude of the moms who asked other moms to take time away from their families to vote for them by refreshing and refreshing until their fingers bleed. Their attitude started to remind me of a Multi-Level Marketing Scam. (You do all of the work, and I'll get all the money.) I think The Bump should pull a "Solomon" and divide the money equally among all 17 semi-final winners. If they want to give their money to another blogger, then allow them to. This would also show the person who hacked into your poll that your organization is fair and full of integrity. Maybe they will think twice next time.

Snarky Mommy is so funny! I read her blog everyday. It is great!!

I have to say THE SPOHRS ARE MULTIPLYING...the money will go to a wonderful cause, and it would be another fitting tribute to Maddie. Heather and Mike have been through so much in the past year, and this blog has caught it all..through the good and the bad. I live on the other side of the country from them, have never met them, but I still feel for them and think this would be a great thing to happen to them!!!

My vote is for Multiple Baby Pileup. Megan is a true inspiration and an exceptional writer. I knew Megan's story from being on the NJ Nest board. We all saw her through the amazing announcement that she was having triplets, to the delivery of those miracle babies and then the truly heart-wrenching news that her baby boy Jack had passed. Her blog can make you laugh and then cry and back again all in a matter of a few sentences. She has taken the worst tragedy and turned it into an amazing fund in Jack's honor to help children with special needs. She always says that Jack brought so many people together in his short life. I think he got that from his Mommy.

Project Nursery was the very first blog that I followed! I began receiving their updates, and started getting involved in their forums. They inspired me to start my own blog, www.TheTomKatStudio.com, about all of the things I love doing. After posting for a few months on my own blog, I was thrilled when PN asked me to become a contributor. The editors, Melisa & Pam are amazing ladies and talented interior designers with a focus on nurseries. Every post from PN is inspiring! Project Nursery deserves to win this FABULOUS award!

The Spohrs Are Multiplying is by far my favorite blog. Heather is such an amazing person and it is such an honor to be invited into the lives or her and her husband. I've cried with her, laughed with her, and learned to hug my daughter just a little by tighter because of her. She is such an inspiration. So many times I think, I should give to this or donate my time to that, but my words never turn into action. Heather inspired myself and countless others to not only give to March of Dimes, but get off of our behinds and walk for the organization as well. To be able to turn such an unimaginable tragedy into so many positive things takes an awesome, strong person. And that is just what she is.

I think The Spohrs Are Multiplying should win. They're an amazing family. Heather, (and occasionally Mike), have opened the doors to trials and tribulations that life has laid before them. The most profound moments being the arrival and far too early departure of their lovely Madeline. As they process through the healing, they've become a voice for children& families in similar situations as their own. Not only do they do amazing things with the March of Dimes, they are unknowingly doing amazing work in the lives of all they touch by letting them in. As selfless as they are in telling they're story, they are even more so in the fact that should they win, they are donating the money. Who could be more deserving?

Baby Dickey deserves to win! Not only is the blog filled with information on the baby's development but also outlines what is happening with the Mom's body. This allows a reader to follow along in the Dickey's excitement and know what is happening with Emily, Steve, and baby. Most importantly, Emily doesn't just share the "cute" parts of pregnancy. She is open and honest about all parts of her pregnancy and conception. As someone who has not had children yet, it is refreshing to hear the truth. Despite the fact that not all aspects of pregnancy are glamorous, Emily still makes me look forward to that time in my life. I wish the Dickey's all the happiness and I hope they win!

I vote for www.mattlogelin.com. Not only did he suffer the loss of his wife, his newborn daughter only met her mommy for a brief moment before she passed hours later. He has turned his unimaginable situation into a cause that raises money to help out new widows and widowers and their children. His blog is well-deserving of the prize money.

I am honored to be a "matt, liz, and madeline" follower. Matt writes from his soul. His writing is 100% unadulterated Matt. He doesn't try to change who he is to satisfy his readers. He doesn't censor his thoughts, it's pure raw emotion. This is a man who experienced his greatest moment and his worst moment in his life in a 27 hour period and he is brave enough to share it with the world. He has taken his loss and has turned it into something great, The Liz Logelin Foundation and he is giving back. He is helping others through a process that he himself is new too. A very selfless man, I must say. He plans to match the prize money and donate it to the foundation. I read several blogs and this one shows me how forunate I am , when I first read Heather's blog , it was so heart wrenching, I didn't think I would go back to her blog (didn't want to cry so much) but you just can't stay away. The best overall blog award should go to issa Mas's Single Mama NYC. She makes the hardest job EVER seem easy and painless. She truly is living her passion raising her son and writing. and I beleive RaisedQ said it best : The Best Overall Blog title should go to "Single Mama NYC". Issa is a wonderful example to other single moms, in NYC & beyond. She chose to become a single parent and is providing a nurturing and loving environment for her son. It's not a position she takes lightly and her child is not lacking in any way. There are many, many single-parent households in the U.S. and she proves that it can be very successful. Yes, there are ups and downs, but shows through her blogs that it is worthwhile. She was also featured in the NY Daily News in an article titled "Conversations with New York's blogging Moms". She is such an inspiration. That is why I cast my vote for "Single Mama NYC".

Heather is a fantastic writer - I look forward to reading her blog every day and I feel like I know her, her husband and Madeline... and now the new baby on the way. I have never had a child, but her writing is so phenomenal that I identify with it. I feel her writing so deeply. I vote for Baby Making Machine!!!-Real gal, real life issues she not only talks about TTC but spent a lot of time talking pre TTC and everyting baby/baby making. I love reading her trials and tribulations in her day to day life. She asks for others advice and reads your thoughts, she does not try to sway anyone's opinion or tell anyone they are wrong on any topic but will give her thoughts and readers can take it in or leave it. She does charity work, she features small business who are helping out her charity, she promotes healthy living, she did a recent baby/pet photo contest which had some of the cutest kids/pets I had ever seen and everyone was able to participate with child or not. She is fun, has unique ideas, and does not hold back she has my vote!!

His blog has truly turned into a love letter to his late wife as well as a love letter to his daughter Maddy! From the very first day I read Matt's b;og (in tears) I have been cheering them along with the rest of the world! I have never been so touched by anyones writing. Matt deserves this and is comitted to doing such good with the money!

I love the Eco Friendly Family Blog. I love that it came about because of a board her on The Bump. I love that it is a great resource for new families starting out and wanting to learn more about how to leave the Earth a little better for our kids then it was when we got it and I love that the blog is a way for even the greenest of us to learn something new. I also love that the money raised from the ads goes to such an amazing cause. It's nice to know that so many people really do care enough to reach out and help each other and to work to take care of the Earth for our kids.

I think Baby Dickey is the most deserving of this prize. The blog does such a great job describing the journey that is pregnancy. It illustrates joys, fears, happiness and hopes for the future Dickey family. I love reading about her updates and keeping in touch with how she is doing since she moved so far away from her friends to be with her family. They are a very honest and loving couple, no doubt they deserve to win the prize. I know without a doubt that they will use the money to further promote a healthy and loving home for their new baby :)

I so super heart BabyMakingMachine and think she's most deserving of this recognition. Future Mama, a.k.a. Jennifer, the sweet, smart, super funny TV broadcaster-turned-wanna-be-pregnant writer of the incredibly insightful Baby Makin(g) Machine. Future Mama doesn’t have any babies yet, but she’s working on it with her husband, and in the process, she's chronicling all of the joys, fears, frustrations, and hopes of taking the journey toward becoming a mom. Her always joyful posts explore everything from how she’s preparing herself mentally, physically, and emotionally for a little one, to how she’s preparing her husband for the push gift she’ll be looking for once she gives birth, and every doggone thing in between. What I love is that her posts are helping other young moms-to-be through the process of preparing their bodies and minds for motherhood, something I had in only limited supply when I was considering motherhood. She's performing a FANTASTIC service for women, and those of us who are already moms are joyfully helping her through the process. BabyMakingMachine really is a fantastic site!

SnarkyMommy is the best. She tells it like it is with the wit and the words that make all mothers and women in general feel like their day is not wasted. She keeps us on our toes with her poignant comments about life at home and out in the real world. It is refreshing to read her antidotes about being a mother and wife while still showing us she can be her own person with a sense of humor. You must vote for Snarky Mommy because she keeps us all thinking about the fact that life can be full of ups and downs but you need to laugh at yourself and the life around you on a daily basis.

Snarky Mommy all the way! There are a lot of elements to her blog. I love it.
