On June 5, stroller and baby gear company phil&teds recalled nearly 400 of their Travel System 26 infant car seat adaptors for strollers, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The plastic adaptors, which can connect an infant’s car seat to a stroller, can crack and break, posing a falling risk for babies. No reports of actual falls have been made, but there have been two reports of cracks after the adaptors were stored in freezing weather conditions.
Anyone using these car seat adaptors should stop doing so immediately, and contact phil&teds for a free replacement. You can call (855) 652-9019, or visit their recalls and updates page.
