Your Baby Is 32 Weeks Old!

Baby smiles at people he knows and may even get concerned when he sees someone else tear up. This is part of baby's process in learning how to express emotions and sense what others are going through. Now is a good time to check the way you relate to others, especially when baby is around. As he continues to grow, he'll depend on you more and more for cues on how to relate to others. Make sure the example you're setting is one you want him to follow.

Humpty dumpty
If you've been considering carpeting or rugs for your wood floors, now's a great time to invest. Baby will soon start testing out his legs, and the softer the floor for him to practice walking (and take some inevitable tumbles) on, the better.

To-do:
> Entertain baby and yourself
> Establish a bedtime routine
> Weigh your caretaking options

[ tip ] As baby gets better at using his hands, he also gets better at putting things in his mouth. Keep objects smaller than an inch and a half (four centimeters) away from him at all times in order to prevent choking.
