Hiro

Hiro is a boy’s name of Spanish origin. Derived from the Greek name Jerome, meaning “sacred name,” Hiro is one way to let your little one know their name was perfectly and purposefully chosen. Hiro is a popular first name in Japan, too, and depending on the combination of kanji, it can mean “abundant,” “generous,” or “prosperous.” Japanese manga artist Hiro Mashima, whose fictional work Fairy Tale became a best-selling series, is also one of its many bearers.
