Diana

In mythology, Diana was an ancient Roman deity and daughter of Jupiter who came to be associated with the Greek goddess Artemis. Noted for her beauty and fleetness, Diana is often depicted as a huntress. Her name, perhaps unsurprisingly, means “divine,” "heavenly," and "goddess." Enduringly popular as a given name, Diana became even more fashionable when Britain’s Prince Charles became engaged to Lady Diana Spencer in 1981. Today, Diana is a reminder of the many regal women who have borne the name.
