Demetrius

Demetrius, a Greek boy's name, means "follower of Demeter," who was the Greek goddess of corn and harvest. Demeter, Persephone's mother, would disappear every year when her daughter had to stay in the underworld, putting an end to growth and the harvest and bringing about the winter months before spring returns.
