Amariah

Amariah may look similar to the Greek Amaria, but this gender-neutral name bears an entirely different etymology. Hebrew in origin, Amariah means "promised by God" and is close kin to the likes of Amaris or Amarissa. Though originally a name reserved for high priests, Amariah reflects those with a clear purpose and the will to see it through.
